PSA: If you're a Ghoul - DO NOT equip this Perk Card as it's bugged (Rad Specialist)
This card is the root problem of unequipping other perks from other categories. Just tested it out as I thought it was a general bug and they had fixed it since I haven't had the unequipping perk bug when I increase my Rads anymore (I didn't have this card equipped).

Then after I equipped this card did perks from other categories get unequipped again.

I mean... as far as Bethesda goes, this is a pretty tame bug :D

Still bad but... give it a few weeks before they bother to fix it.

Thing is I unequipped this card a while ago since I thought it was getting Rads in general as a ghoul was the reason perks kept getting unequipped. Then after awhile when I started getting Rads, I noticed my perk cards weren't getting unequipped so I thought it was all fine since I had full Rads.

It wasn't until I equipped the card today again did I literally see my perk cards from other categories unequip themselves :steamfacepalm:

Well... It's similar to their Holiday Scorched and losing perks when hit with fire... Took a while to fix that one...

WTH is going on with this code that damage causes perks to be unequipped? That is some major spaghetti where spaghetti isn't needed (could have been a nice linear sausage instead...).

Not exactly sure what you're claiming it's doing.
Are you saying that equipping the card is unequipping other cards?

Yea, when you get Rads with this card equipped, it will unequip 1 or a few perk cards in each category and you have to equip them back again. Without this card equipped when you get Rads, it won't do that.

I've never heard nor came across this issue. Interesting. Are you using any mods by chance?

Bethesda admitted it and are aware. They have a sticky post on the Reddit.

No, I don't use any mods because Bethesda apparently doesn't exactly "approve" the usage of mods for this game even though people do use mods and they haven't exactly took action 'yet'.

So it makes me hesitant to even use any mods :jhjusthero:
I mean... there are a few mods that really should have been ingame sh!t from the getgo, and if they choose to ban me for those mods, well that is 18bucks i can save every few months.

If they ever decide to actually implement some of these basic QOL issues into the game, modding wouldn't really be needed.

Now for the real cheat-y sh!t like run though walls, ignore doors, see mobs anywhere on the map? ya that stuff SHOULD be monitored and bannable.
