Are Bloodied builds gimped with that new raid thingy?

Thinking about playing again, but when that new vault/raid think came out I saw people complaining that Bloodied builds are useless for it. Is that really the case? I've got too much time invested into my build and I've no interest in trying to change builds.

You're not stuck in a bloodied build With legendary mods it's easy to construct a set of what you need. Second and third sets... that's on you.

Well the problem is if you go down in the raid, you die. Straight up, and can't get back in till any boss event going on ends (either through a wipe or completion of the event). Which makes bloodied even more risky than usual.

Appreciate it, but I prefer to play solo. Maybe duo with a friend when they're inclined to play as well.

You CAN do an unyielding bloodied build at about 15% health and solo EN06 but its not easy... 99.99% of bloodied players would probably fail to solo him

Stage 2 health doesn't really matter, its trash enemies and running stuff with a one hit kill mechanic enemy

Stage 3 they are weak and die quick, most bloodied should be able to handle this pretty easily

Stage 4 health doesn't really matter, trash mobs, poison and a one hit kill enemy

Stage 5 the snake is obliteratable by bloodied before it can really do anything

Fron my observation yes and no.
For normal play-through players tend to use full health along with some of the new four star mods on their gear after trying bloodied because it's easier.
Others use bloodied, buff stacking, specific perks, downing themselves then revive with revenant equipped to do massive Boss damage so a stage is over in seconds.

Yeah, I bet I'm part of that 99.99%, heh. I don't even think I have full unyielding. I stopped playing before the legendary rework.

4 star stuff exists now, eh? Screw it. Guess I'll see how bad it is for myself then! Maybe it won't be as bad as I'm imagining. I can always remove my rads and give myself full health.

Yeah but 4* power armour stuff is absurdly good
ex... Rejuvenators is constant ap and hp regen

4* regular armour stuff is meh
ex... Sawbones does 5hp / second

For weapons its three or four good options and a bunch of meh

Yeah, I use PA. Always loved miniguns and the tankiness of bloodied. There really isn't another build type that interested me.

all things that proc off reduced health use your current health unles that got reverted.
radiation reduced your current health to 40%? guess what it no longer procs your stim usage or nerd rage now unless it is at 20% of that 40%.
s00 nerd rage and so on now works best without health regen and at max hp.
bloodied as we knew it (nerd rage - unyielding) can not work it did before unless they reverted it .
which by now i hope bc i run str from rads perk and had nerd rage.
i can only be protected and overloaded and run around damaged and hope noone heals me .
travelling requires me to keep rad makers on me

I usually eat enough rads until Nerd Rage procs. That isn't a thing anymore? That's worrying.

Depending on how long it has been before you last played there have been successive changes to some perk cards.
Ranks changed and moved to different SPECIALS.
For me it has made my higher level characters tankier and IMHO overpowered.
You will probably need to review your load out.
