Better weapon after EN06 shield is down without Auto Axe cheat?

I still can't solo this using the cheat method. The hard part is doing quicker damage after the shield is down. I've seen all sorts of ideas but that damage meter never moves fast enough to get it done in 2 passes.

Strenght ** on power armor, right perk card setup, alone no team, you will do 2200 dmg pr hit , no food or camp buffs, should be more than enough time to take down EN06.
Add Bublehead,foodbuff, team buff and you will kill it in no time.
with team and foodbuff my dmg pr hit is around 6000 add bubblehead and its even more.

I'm assuming you are talking about the stand on the platform method. I consider it a "cheat" as well but funny thing is I killed him 80 times "legit" and never got the trophy award and first time I axed him on the platform I got it.

If you are gunning him, I found I could only win with Gatling Plasma AA/Explosive. I have no mutations or much extra SPECIAL, run all special cards and the electric absorb card. No team or take one for the team cheese. Using Psychobuff and my explo chipping away at his health while shield was being broken it took me all 3 bunkers, primed weapon made it so there was some wiggle room at the end and didnt have to go all the way.

After 80 times (got the acheivement at 76/76) I got a Pounders drop and made a Furious, power attack +40% damage, 3str auto axe and put Pounders on it. I took carnivoire mutation and one of the tasty meats (+85%) for 170% melee damage and get up to 2100 per hit or so. I don't need the mutation, the 80% still seems to cap you out at just over 2k. Also Fury can boost it, but again I didn't seem to neeed it.

Only issue I have now is in the shield phase sometimes I die. I don't know exactly why, I think I get pushed off the platform bit by bit. I was using a AA/Cripple Gatling Laser to take the shield off which worked ok but Dragon is better. Just Aim it at him over and over and his shield melts fast. Most retarded thing I've seen ever. Was a Suppressor/Cripple one no one wanted to buy off the vendor.

Also there is sweet spot to aim the axe, I put the blade on the yellow border on his chest piece, if you move it around you should see where to have it for max damage. If I can do it anyone can and if you aren't getting 2k a hit you need to figure out why, something is being done wrong.

Yeah, in 3rd person it seems to register more hits as well, but your often so close your axe clips through the back rather than hitting the front weak section...you kinda need to turn a bit so the axe starts only hitting the front.
Also noticed while crouching you can slip into stealth mode because its disabled so i'm not sure of those bonus' apply as well.

I use a heavy weapons and when the shield goes down I use a bloody explosive plasma gat with the new mods on it and between that and my reflective damage i kill usually in either the 3rd round or the last round of it, power armor I use is trouble shooters with 2nd star endurance plus 2, I use a vampires explosive plasma gat to get through the shield, no 4th star on anything and my 3rd stars are either some kind of weight reduction or random 3rd star waiting to be made into a weight reduction mod

To get the shield down faster you can try holding a black powder rifle or dragon with 2 star crippling(it's what i use to farm en06 with cheese.)

1 star and 3rd star can be anything. I would use 3 star end for the bonus health or luck 3*** for higher ricochet chance.

Use heavy weapon, fire (you have 6 sec of bullet shield effect) and switch to black powder/dragon for crippling/limb damage to take effect and drain the shield. Shield is a limb so it will take a lot of damage.

While it hits you, You will need to spam stimpaks.

This was my method. I will share my build in a bit so you can see the perks i use.

Only food buffs as a carnivore are grilled radstag for + health and + weight, pemmican+ 6 end company tea for ap regen.

I am in PA, but you can try it without PA and just stand a bit close
