The heck kind of scam is the Enclave Armory Bundle

seriously what part of this is enclave aside from the painted E on the power armor that isnt anything the enclave uses nor is any of the paint style or other outfit.

If you mean the Gleaming Depths - Enclave Armory Bundle - why would that be a scam? Can you see beforehand what you are buying?

OP's clearly referring to how the visual fidelity represents (or doesn't in this case) the faction.

Doesn't change the statement - there's room for interpretation - but please, what could be a scam about that and even if it looks poor...? You can just exaggerate everything.

Yeah... the Vertiguard Power Armor... It's already an issue lorewise but the only other ones are either BoS branded or Blood Eagles.

People get a bit weird with thinking The Enclave and BoS are 'at war' despite FO76 occurring much earlier in the timeline, well before any animosity between the groups.

Therefore some want to wear Vertiguard because of the jetpack/look but not want to display BoS insignia.

Bethesda saw a market and said "Stuff the lore! There's money to be made!".

Lore timeline is so jacked for this game. Picking just one section to harp on ins't exactly fair.

As to factions "at war", I think all of fallout conflict theme could be aptly described as tribal warfare. I'm mostly upset we don't have more tribes and instead focus on these specific organizations like they're the majority of the surviving population.
