How do i put Medics on a thirstzapper?
i have multiple medics mods but i cant apply it to the thirstzapper, do i have to be able to craft it first? i have the medical malpractice blueprint so i can farm it i geuss, i was just hoping i could put medics on the thirstzapper by using them mods

You just need to apply a random 1* mod using legendary modules and swap it afterwards with medic.

You can't take mods OFF of something to use on another whenever.
You have to get Box mods by buying, trading, learning the plans and make them, and a chance at Box mod dropping while scrapping.

I have one with 3 stars at it's cost efficient to 3 star it and swap out the 1st for Medic's.
You can single shot or rapid fire it so it heals somewhat well.
Can't recall the # of times I've saved an NPC and event (and others) by having this thing.

good point on the rapid mod, i should have 3 starred mine but i went with a 1 star and switched in one of my many medic mods, would explosive work to heal me? say i craft one and put it on then shoot at the ground? will that splash heal me? that would be cool if i could "forget" about stimpaks lol

since the last patch my thirstzapper medic gun doesn't work anymore, it shoots 1 squirt of water then stops working

i suggest making it again, i just made one and it works just fine for me gladly.

Nah don't worry keep your mods buddy, glad to help. Also like someone else in this thread told you, you can always have a second star which is faster fire rate that makes the weapon fire a bit quicker.

Also if you already made a 1* and swapped the 1* with medic, you can also add an extra random 2* at the cost of extra modules instead of getting a whole new thirst zapper. Personally all you need is 1* medic/2* faster fire rate/3* 90% reduced weight and you're good to go but 90% is very optional.
