Early Warnings and The Missing Link bugged

I've looked around for a solution but, none of them are currently working. Currently mashing the interaction button and Early Warnings had no marker whatsoever. Is there a workaround for these quests that nobody have posted?

In Early Warnings, it's Find the missing uplink.
In The Missing Link, it's Complete Rose's Quests to Gain Her Trust.

Disable all quests except for the one you want to do. The missing uplink is not inside the structure where Rose is. I think the indicator is buggy if you're inside. Exit the building and check again. Rose's quests are "optional". I would personally suggest holding off on that.

I'd also suggest going to some friends private server, a lot of quests historically were bugged so that once the server started up the quest was achievable

however, the first time any player on that server completed the quest the quest was no longer possible for anyone else to do

private servers spin up when someone makes them thus it bypassed this issue

I had one with the vaccine that was this way

I found this fixed a whole lot of problems with the game--especially when quests started bugging out. Amazing what a difference it can make just switching away from public servers for a quest or two.
