(and really benefit of the doubt, bethesda screws up a ton of things regularly so if their we worked on this to get it right is accurate 0.00000001% of the time I'm inclined to believe that they are wrong on bans a lot too)
What did the ban report say?
You CAN appeal it easiest by going to reddit, making an account, posting what it is and having one of the community managers who frequent that site take notice
If it was just a temporary ban, that would be one thing, but Permanent bans are only issued for gross violations with irrefutable physical evidence, and this is why Permanent bans are almost always reserved for people who possess hacked weapons. Bethesda doesn't even permaban for duping anymore, because of how easy it is to accidentally dupe stuff. (Typically you get an Itemseed bot ban for 72hours pending investigation/appeal)
directly to their support section bro, I basically just made an official complaint. Without resorting to other means, I didn't have to. I just thought they were wrong and would solve it.
Yes, and I can understand that they do bans, a lot of people take advantage of bugs or annoy other players. But that is not my case at all, I have not even destroyed a camp in all that I have been playing.
I wish that was it, after two years playing the only decent weapons I have are the gauss that I have made myself. I'm not lying to you, basically they have never even sent me an email claiming anything in 2 years playing. They directly ban me completely, and I don't even know why. I am a very understandable subject, if even if I had the slightest doubt about why. I wasn't complaining like this ... But basically the reason for the ban doesn't cross my mind.
You see the issue right? Permanent Bans, unless they just changed the system, are always manual reviews. I wouldn't expect you to come out and tell me you did something illegal in the game.
I find it really hard to believe they didn't issue a reason. Even Innovsurvivalist, a youtuber that covers this game got banned (72hr) a few days ago, and the reason issued was griefing.
This is what they answer me, but when I ask what the violation is. I want evidence, not automatic responses. They basically repeat the same thing to me, I'm banned for something I supposedly did. The problem is that I did not do anything wrong .. I even had a long time without playing. I had resumed it less than a week ago ..
"After a thorough review of your account it has been determined that the account did in fact violate our Code of Conduct. We regret to inform you that your appeal for an account ban reversal is denied due to the evidence within our system for cheating/exploiting.
Due to the extent and scale of the violation, it has been decided that the ban on this account will remain in place, and that all services related to this account shall remain deactivated permanently."
hahahaha you made me laugh .. but no, it's not a 2 shot explosive machete a hacked weapon
The only other thing I can think of is you made the mistake of trying to sell something via Real Money Transaction, and you got hit in a Sting, which I know for a fact Bethesda does from time to time. Most people who do RMT are smart enough to use mules and shell accounts though, but you figure if the average hacked and duped gun goes for twenty bucks, if Bethesda team buys one and bans the dude's account who traded it, they're like in the net positive 10 bucks because every account holder had to buy the game lol.
On topic: Most bans are because you were doing a no-no, have hacked items in your inventory, or did the scrap glitch for millions of resources. The most recent wave seems to have hit a bunch of people using duped legacies, scrap glitched, or did the Legendary Sentry Bot an absolutely horrific amount.
