I was permanently banned for no reason (close)
I have been playing for almost 2 years, I have always been a legal player, who always treats my teammates well, who has never used any type of cheating, and they come and ban me without giving me the reasons. They also tell me that it is permanent and irrevocable, a total abuse by bethesda. I've always been his big fan, but this has 100% disappointed me :VGRUMPY::VGRUMPY:

Where you spamming the report player system? You can get banned for that.
Phantom May 14, 2021 @ 11:43pm
Lots of reports of this recently with people claiming to be legit players

(and really benefit of the doubt, bethesda screws up a ton of things regularly so if their we worked on this to get it right is accurate 0.00000001% of the time I'm inclined to believe that they are wrong on bans a lot too)

What did the ban report say?

You CAN appeal it easiest by going to reddit, making an account, posting what it is and having one of the community managers who frequent that site take notice

They do not give out permanent bans with no appeal without multiple infractions or a severe infraction, namely having Hacked Weapons.

If it was just a temporary ban, that would be one thing, but Permanent bans are only issued for gross violations with irrefutable physical evidence, and this is why Permanent bans are almost always reserved for people who possess hacked weapons. Bethesda doesn't even permaban for duping anymore, because of how easy it is to accidentally dupe stuff. (Typically you get an Itemseed bot ban for 72hours pending investigation/appeal)

It bothers me is that basically they did not take me into consideration, it was like "you are banned because yes, and you can not do anything. Even if we do not tell you the reason ..." I have never had a single problem with another player, a wake-up call or something similar. An unblemished record ... 2 years playing, tons of collectibles, hours invested ... in the trash because someone thought I did something wrong. Incredible, I didn't expect that from bethedsa.

directly to their support section bro, I basically just made an official complaint. Without resorting to other means, I didn't have to. I just thought they were wrong and would solve it.

Yes, and I can understand that they do bans, a lot of people take advantage of bugs or annoy other players. But that is not my case at all, I have not even destroyed a camp in all that I have been playing.

I wish that was it, after two years playing the only decent weapons I have are the gauss that I have made myself. I'm not lying to you, basically they have never even sent me an email claiming anything in 2 years playing. They directly ban me completely, and I don't even know why. I am a very understandable subject, if even if I had the slightest doubt about why. I wasn't complaining like this ... But basically the reason for the ban doesn't cross my mind.

You see the issue right? Permanent Bans, unless they just changed the system, are always manual reviews. I wouldn't expect you to come out and tell me you did something illegal in the game.

I find it really hard to believe they didn't issue a reason. Even Innovsurvivalist, a youtuber that covers this game got banned (72hr) a few days ago, and the reason issued was griefing.

Is a 2 shot explosive machete a hacked weapon?

This is what they answer me, but when I ask what the violation is. I want evidence, not automatic responses. They basically repeat the same thing to me, I'm banned for something I supposedly did. The problem is that I did not do anything wrong .. I even had a long time without playing. I had resumed it less than a week ago ..

"After a thorough review of your account it has been determined that the account did in fact violate our Code of Conduct. We regret to inform you that your appeal for an account ban reversal is denied due to the evidence within our system for cheating/exploiting.

Due to the extent and scale of the violation, it has been decided that the ban on this account will remain in place, and that all services related to this account shall remain deactivated permanently."

hahahaha you made me laugh .. but no, it's not a 2 shot explosive machete a hacked weapon

Did you partake the Cleaver/Tomahawk/Throwing Knife XP exploit? I'd be shocked if they're actually banning people for that, but also mildly amused.

The only other thing I can think of is you made the mistake of trying to sell something via Real Money Transaction, and you got hit in a Sting, which I know for a fact Bethesda does from time to time. Most people who do RMT are smart enough to use mules and shell accounts though, but you figure if the average hacked and duped gun goes for twenty bucks, if Bethesda team buys one and bans the dude's account who traded it, they're like in the net positive 10 bucks because every account holder had to buy the game lol.

You definitely did something. The automated system they have now has a near 0% false positive rate. If you went through that AND a manual review and they said you had severe violations; you had severe violations. Either you did the mannequin exploit, used a cheat tool, or used some other dupe thats going around. What you didnt do was "nothing wrong".

Wait.. do those exist? How would that even work? You would blow yourself up with explosive, no?
On topic: Most bans are because you were doing a no-no, have hacked items in your inventory, or did the scrap glitch for millions of resources. The most recent wave seems to have hit a bunch of people using duped legacies, scrap glitched, or did the Legendary Sentry Bot an absolutely horrific amount.

Oh I'm sure they can be forced to exist. Not sure if it'd be able to be equipped. It'd certainly ping you on Betheda's MODUS though.
