take part on events or dailies

Do big public events like Encryptid, Scorched Earth, A Colossal Problem and people are always going down.

For my money, the bullion backpack mods that reduces the weight of food or chems are a better deal than the high capacity backpack mod.

depends which u mean, u mean the ones from the possum badges? if so those (I think) are solely on you, i don't think anyone else can share those quests (or challenges in some cases)

Even still, your prob better off going for the resist u need to shore up(energy, rad, or dr) or a refrigerated mod over the big carry weight boost... found I could get better results from -% weight of xxxx items on armor over the backpack mods.

Yea your best bet when it comes to reviving an Ally is ones where there are a lot of enemies attacking in a relatively small area. Concentrate fire if you know what I mean. eviction notice isn't so great because the mutants are so spread out, but if they do take out the radiation scrubber than you might get someone going down to the radiation, but that's rare from what I have seen. Encryptid is a good one to try but its easy for people downed to be hit again killing them. Radiation rumble can be good chance of people going down if it isn't overloaded with participants as that one can be a bit hectic if there are only 6 or less people.

Scorched earth is perhaps your best bet as its the most frequent of the nuke location events and if the queen isn't killed within seconds, people are often blindsided to the adds that appear in that fight downing them.

Just curious, but why is the bag only 60 and not 120?

The base 'Standard' backpack is +60 Carry Weight, to get it to +120 you need to get the High Capacity Mod which adds an extra +60

Correct, it's an either or proposition with any of the backpack mods.

The high capacity backpack reduces your energy and rad resistance. So there is a trade off for hauling that much more stuff.

No longer does. Tool tip still says it does, but it no longer reduces your resists.

It's a flat +60 carry(over the backpacks default 60, so 120 total)

Ok steam forums are being bonkers, I did NOT quote that post, but still lol same deal..

Either way ya, the 120 total carry backpack mod no longer reduces your resists, but the tooltip still reports it does.

So it's best for +60 or reduced 90 foods?
