how many and which collectrons can i build in camp?

can i build 1 robodog collectron, 1 nuka cola collectron and 1 nuka cola quantum collectron?
or how does it work please explain , before i waste my gold bullion.

You can place one protectron from the list of protectrons available to you.

Each one has a preset list of stuff it will randomly collect. Build one in your camp and it will start collecting. You can go in and select which list of stuff you want it to collect based on the ones you own, so you could have the nuka cola one built but have it collect the Santa list.

No, you can only set them to collect things you OWN collectrons for.

If you don't own the bullion Nuka collectron or the Atom store one, your FETCH dog can not collect nuka.

The dog collects junk. Owning the Nuka Cola collectron allws you to collect Nuka Colas of various flavors instead. The raider one can collect either chems and alcohol (including empty bottles) or weapons and ammo. You can only have a single collectron active at a time, but you can use the terminal on the object to set it to look for any category of stuff available to you based on the collectrons you own.

One collectron per CAMP.

You can configure any collectrons you own to behave like any of the other collectrons you own (i.e. F.E.T.C.H. Collectron can be set to gather Nuka-Cola if you own the Nuka-Cola collectron as well).

As for mine... If they're not set to collect Holiday Gifts during the holidays, they're set to collect Nuka-Cola in the off-season.

You can only have one built but the more you own the more that one can collect.

I got FETCH first and Nuka cola collectron second. FETCH could only collect junk or electronic when I first got it.
When I bought the Nuka cola collection, Nuka was added to the list on the FETCH terminal.

I am currently debating on the Nuka Quantum one next as I am curious what will be different once that's added in.

It collects more Nuka Quantum (duh), plus some nuclear waste now and then, and the rest of the Nuka flavours are differently weighed if I'm not mistaken, there may even be one or two you only get from regular collectron or the Quantum one, not sure.

OP the dog can be set to collect Nuka products but it will still gather you mostly junk.

Getting the quantum collector is worth it if you use Cola Nut/thru hiker perks. You''ll get a quantum or two every time you log, automatically. Combine it with the cola machine and park your CAMP somewhere near White Springs and you're good to go on Cola resources

Sirius is correct in the diversities of cola also being greater for the Quantum collector.

You don't have to build any collectron. You can just visit other camps and take all that stuff for free. Most people don't lock their collectrons.
