Armor Station Plans

Are any of the Robot Vendors known to sell these plans, or do any quests drop them?

If you mean basic armor workbench you can often find it near in-world workbenches. Before buying it I'd go check Flatwood's workbenches (several along the street with church), other good spot is Pleasant Valley ski resort. (alley with stands & arena between main building and cottages) Station workbenches can also spawn workbench plans near them.
EDIT. IIRC power armor station is a reward for finishing excavator-quest.

I ment the Power Armor Station. I guess I have to do the excavator quest. Ill have to research that one. I was just hoping to buy it and move along, but no such luck!

Miner's Miracle is relatively easy although you need to be at least level 25 before you can finish it since you can't craft Excavator pieces before that. You can trigger it on any level by reading Garrahan excavator poster, there's one right in front of Garrahan Mining HQ which is in south-east corner of Ash Heap-region.

Thanks, I'll see if I can do this one tonight. I need some place to post the power armor pieces. Is it possible for other players who enter your camp to steal the pieces off the station? Ive heard of some people losing some stuff from their camp from other players.

You need to pick up a PA frame, you can place it on any station and craft the pieces, then go register the armor in Garrahan HQ. Follow the quest, it guides you through. You will need quite a lot of screws and some black titanium for whole set though.

No-one can steal pieces from frame you own, and owned PAs always return to your inventory after short period of inactivity so you can't leave them in any station anyway. You can also put them in your stash if you need carry capacity while gathering materials, PA frame weights the same 10 with or without the pieces so it doesn't take that much space.

I think one of the vendors in Whitesprings sell the PA armor station plans, but you're better off getting it for free from the excavator quest

Sounds good. I might check it out. might be kind of pricey though. I just lack a lot of room and wanted to keep a lot of level 50 stuff I have in storage.

Don’t pay caps when you can do a quest and get it free.

I havent been spending any money really, have over 20,000. I will prabably just do the quest though. I got sidetracked with the mystery estate quest tonightI just hate the idea of running back and forth to try to craft the armor. Good to hear the armor is safe. I keep reading about locks and traps on your house to safeguard. There is even a perk to damage other players houses but that might date back to earlier game times when PVP was more common.
