Agility course at Fort McClintock

For those of you that have finished it, any suggestions? I have run it 20 times and failed every time. Secondly, is there any benefit for completing all these courses? Or is this just another quest?

Do you have speed demon mutation? Failing that join a team and equip the faster-movement charisma perk. I'm pretty sure marsupial just makes the course more obnoxious but a jet pack can help for smaller boosts. Have you switched from 1st to 3rd person view? That's really the game changer

Isn't it part of basic training to get your enrolment papers so you can enjoy the best part at the DMV?

Usually with these agility challenges go faster not slower (not just with perks/mutations per se). The faster you attempt the less time for your brain to make mistakes by over thinking and the less movements you make with your mouse (or controller).

For the moment Fort McClintock is temporarily unimportant because when I restored my save I no longer had an army helmet, it disappeared. Need to find one before I go back.

Its needed for a few things in game like finishing the Enclave questline.

My tip is do it during the day so you can see it. I walked through it the first couple of times to make sure I was doing it in the right order then finished it with no problems.

As far as army helmets go, there should be a few laying around there to pick up, if not switch servers and look again.

Practice practice practice. Pretty much all I can say as each person will have different things they do to make the course easier.

But yes there are a few things you can get from the Tadpole/Possum Badges.

For me it was primarily the larger backpacks.

movespeed maxes at 20%, so the serum will cap you. IF you don't have the mutation some perk cards give speed boost too. makes a difference. Having more stamina (ap) means you can run longer too (Same with higher endurance as it decreases ap to run cost ratio)

I think there is one in a room in the upper stairs of the overseer's house, but I'm not quite sure...
