You'll need to max out Animal Friend perk and i think wasteland whisperer and be higher level than them. Have them go to your camp and they stay there. But i saw a post about how your turrets will attack it.

There is a legendary perk card, "Electric Absorption" that will help you charge your cores, other than that, I don't think you can.

is there anyway to get alot of them / not have to worry about them while using the armor? Also, can I put my armor on display without people taking it / it going back to my inventory?

Whenever you take a power armor frame. It only belongs to you- no one else can use it nor look through it's inventory. If you leave it, it will auto go back into your inventory. You can also rename it but i forgot how to. fusion cores are easy to get. Game gives me them often from events and daily quests. You can get a plan to craft them at a tinker's workbench. Also use the perks to drain less fusion cores when in power armor. To which cores, just open up power armor inventory and take out the core and throw in a different one. When a core runs out, it you have them in inventory; it will also change them.

Okay, The perks you are referencing, is it only the Electric Absorption the other guy mentioned? if not what other perks? might you know what category they come from?

I don't remember, they should be under intelligence. Once you hit level 50. You can either choose one perk card or move one special perk point to a different special perk point. You'll unlock one legendary perk slot, then reach level 100 to unlock another legendary perk slot to level 150 legendary perk slot. So you are looking to use mostly PA. Look up builds since you are still a low level. Because once hit level 50. You don't get anymore special perk points. Game is getting an update soon so you can now move your special perk points freely and create build slots for them.

Try not to use it too much because of the repair cost and mostly everyone relays on PA. While I don't at all.

most relyable way to get FCs is to claim a power plant workshop (and better get the corosponding power plant up and running too) and give the FCs Constructor power (that why u better get the power plant running, the constructors eat a lot, so its the powered up power plant connector or a Fusion reactor/vault reactor to get it running)
each of the 3 Power plant workshop has such a FC Constructor.

most daily quests have a chance to give you 1-3 FC as reward too.

have a 2h melee char and a heavy weapon char, both using PA 24/7 and both never got problems with FC (only sometimes to much of them instead)

there is a LEGENDARY Perk, no normal card, you get your first legendary perk slot when a char of your acount reaches lvl 50. than you have a tab at the top side of your perk management window leading you to your legendary perk window. but the card has only a chance to proc when you get attacked with electric dmg. thats the only thing that can recharge a FC.

the normal card that lessen the FC drain is "Power User" Int Card, at tier 3 it makes the FC last double as long.

oh, and forget the build recipe for FC very fast, you need stable flux of each color to build FCs.

Don't get too invested in your pet tame. They are highly prone to dying and/or disappearing from random game glitches or just bad luck pathing/firing mechanics from NPC's. This is one of the reasons that tames are so very rarely encountered in player CAMPS. I had a tame once... it lasted about 10 days before it got shot up from long range NPC sniping that is the bane of every player CAMP. The sniping is so far away that neither your own turrets, NPC players, or player tames will aggro against it. They'll just stand around like idiots and get shot up.

10days? So they carry over as long as they dont die? Thats fine :D I would like to tame it as a pet pet, rather than something that will fight lol

best way to know if your camps pet friendly is to get the cow camp pen
https://fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Plan:_Brahmin_pen
there dumb drown in a puddle and are attracted to the floor nail boards but if it lives then your main pet will live so if you come back to no cow at camp youll need to find out on what its killing itself on (ive had them kill themselves between 2 generators)

https://www.reddit.com/r/fo76/comments/iwnmss/how_to_tame_a_pet_post_patch_22/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf

gl finding one

fusion cores...dont take over the workshop if your adverse to pvp players will attack you just thinking easy target

theres afew guides on farming fusion cores they spawn out in the world at various places youtube has afew guides on best route i would post a link but then everyone would use the route and you'd never find them

power user (int lvl 50) makes cores last longer as mentioned legendary perk elec absorption (lvl50+) regains /recharges the core when shot by energy weapons
Thank you for the useful information!!! I dont know if I had the patience to test the brahmin pen out, but would it be possible to just make a room for a pet and hopefully nothing will shoot through the walls? Also can u answer if I can have more than 1 pet? (I would like 1 death claw and also a Sloth :D) I have FO1st, so Private servers are my friend when it comes to workshops

Location 64 (far right near top of map) is my prefered location for Deathclaws and Megasloth spawns.

You'll need to server hop for many many hours to find one unless you're lucky.
Fartikus 2021 年 4 月 15 日 下午 1:39
Also, you cannot tame animals for your CAMP unless you tame the animal from within a mission-specific quest that contains the animal within it. For example, you could "tame" a random sloth or deathclaw while you're just wandering around, but that tame will not journey back to your CAMP nor become "yours". It will merely turn white and hang out and not bother you, is all. It won't link itself to your base. The only way that you can currently get a tame to do that is to tame the animal within very specific quest lines. You'll immediately know if this works, as you'll see the tame start running off in the general direction of your CAMP.

This very narrow operational use of taming is the #1 reason that player tames are so very rarely seen in player CAMPs. Having them get shot up or sucked down into the floorboards is the #2 reason.

Seen it spawn under the bridge between Crevasse Dam and the red rocket station. Also at top right corner, near the crashed vertibird at the mire. If its a nest or multiple monsters or a battle between monsters, then you can't tame it. The animal needs to be alone. Sometimes it takes hours to find the animal you want.

You could heal it with friendly fire perk, with the shishkebab weapon. Not sure if you can anymore. Maybe they fix it in another patch.
