Also, you cannot tame animals for your CAMP unless you tame the animal from within a mission-specific quest that contains the animal within it. For example, you could "tame" a random sloth or deathclaw while you're just wandering around, but that tame will not journey back to your CAMP nor become "yours". It will merely turn white and hang out and not bother you, is all. It won't link itself to your base. The only way that you can currently get a tame to do that is to tame the animal within very specific quest lines. You'll immediately know if this works, as you'll see the tame start running off in the general direction of your CAMP.

This very narrow operational use of taming is the #1 reason that player tames are so very rarely seen in player CAMPs. Having them get shot up or sucked down into the floorboards is the #2 reason.
are there daily missions etc that have these ?

That information is inaccurate at best. There aren't missions specific quests, but there are specific story spawn locations.

Search for "Fallout 76 Pet Locations", look for images and you'll find where the locations are.

You have to be careful about your environment too. I had a deathclaw forever. I moved my camp and it seemed to be doing fine for a couple of days, then it was just gone. I have my camp by a pond and it has an NPC that spawns there. The NPC loses health when he's in the water. The critters that spawn by my camp get killed by the water or sometimes when my building is loading in. There are no other enemies around that would be able to kill my deathclaw. My guess is that he was in the water and one of my buildings trapped him there.

Okay.. Although I have a question, How do you find something less than half your level if everywhere I go, everything is scaled to my level? or is that what the "random spawn" inquires

They removed that requirement, you can tame any level.

I think pets also need a decent amount of camp budget too so you want to make sure you have that available.

Just repeating a few bits of information I posted in another thread.

Pets only stay at your camp, they do not follow you.

Players and enemies can kill your pet.

Pets will regenerate health over time.

After you tame the pet, it is advised to log out of the server, and rejoin a server. As the pet needs to travel by foot to your camp. Logging out and then back in will act as a safe fast travel.

Once dead, you will have to tame a new one.

Player's aren't supposed to be able to kill a tamed pet if the owner has pacifist mode on. They used to be able to attack people's pets about 2 years ago from what I can find. (However, it wouldn't surprise me if there was a way for a player to exploit a glitch and kill the pet.)
