Did you happen to accidentally turn the quest off on your pipboy/hud?
That's the issue, his statement is so general I have no idea what he's asking me to find.
The quest line is not appearing for me to enable or disable it.
I've tried scrapping and adding him again to no effect.
I just moved on to another ally.

So I had noticed MAYBE ~ a month ago I started running into him with weird dialogue despite having him as a companion and no new or under level 70ish players on the map which makes it an odd spawn. I had no problems back when I acquired him but according to the internet he is the one exceptionally bugged companion; all others should still fix with scrapping their station, putting in a new companion and completing their quest, then coming back to 'em. Raider punk this may not work, however. He's the wild one; not ACTUALLY your companion, sometimes selling info to about your camp to other factions. That's why those f****** mole rats keep finding it. They were sent as an advance strike force of living biological weapons to test your defenses. Where's my tin foil hat...
*oh I almost forgot. If you have a second camp make sure he's not set up there, somehow glitching it out as a somehow simultaneously existing dual but singular entity. Fun glitch if so. Also always try the "look away and then try again" such as with Ward, known to take up anywhere from two-twenty times for him to actually respond. Anybody notice that happening less, recently, btw? I'm almost a little sad about it. Dude finally got some therapy.
I created my second camp yesterday and left Punk Raider active (but broken) in my original camp. I just switched back to my first camp and the Punk's quest line popped up after about five minutes. I came back to update this thread and found your post. Amazing. Yours was a solid tip I think.
