Jet pack location?

Hi guys, where I can find jet pack? I have got the jet pack but, i think its for the power armor. I want to find a jet pack without wearing power armor.

as far as im aware, there are only 2 armors that can have jet packs, brotherhood recon armor and secret service armor, the jetpack is a mod applied to the chest piece

You will have to earn "bullions" and lucky enough in Daily Ops for that ... , it's endgame stuff ... !

Most power armour types can take jetpacks as a chest mod (some exceptions)

Non power armour has the aforementioned two choices... the daily ops dropped brotherhood one and the gold bullion secret service one

So to get SS Armor I'm suppose to join enclave? Maybe a weird question but I realy want that armor and I'm still doing main story with SBQ, will do Wastelanders after.

Also would like to know which one is better? BoS Recon or SS?

Most power armors can have jetpack, maybe not escavator power armor.

T-65, Strangler heart, and hellcat power armor need to be purchade with gold bullions.
X-01 can be bought inside the enclave bunker.
Others can be bought from different vendors for caps, raider from raider vendor, bos from bos vendor ets.

Ultracite jetpack can be dropped from scorch queen. Other mods like calibrated shocks or emergency protocols are very rare drop from scorch queen.

To launch nukes you need to join the enclave
To get gold bullion you need to do the main quest (raiders or settlers)

BoS recon is IMO inferior to SS... Now you can reroll its less of an impossible task to get what you want (ss was one of the only things you could craft legendary before) but its geared more for defence that you will be well above diminishing returns

SS does the same thing you hit the diminishing returns but it lets you get them on both physical and energy

i think it really depends on how you play
ofc there are some legendary perk cards that empower you to wear a set of the same combination of armor pieces
and thorn and solar need the full set to take advantage of the bonus

but honestly if you only wanna jetpack then combine whatever pieces you think that feel right
just the chest piece for the jetpack function is what you need
