Just to make sure I understand you: better to get the plans for the flamer and keep making it until I get the mods by scrapping flamers?

You can have another player craft the exact specs you want for the gun then give it to you.

They’ve adjusted or are adjusting mods on the flamer that will affect its performance. You might want to watch this to see if you’re killing yourself trying to get mod plans only for it to be pointless.
I'm using short range because it makes me stand really ridiculously close. I was hoping non-short range would be better?
I use the standard barrel for range and it absolutely decimates anything and everything that gets in its way. It's my go to daily op weapon for when you have to boost the signals and can't leave the area.
