Last update broke the game completely. FIX THE CRASHES ALREADY

Something happened on Monday to break the game. Constant crashing for no reason. Just crashed with an exception where the game attempted to access memory address 0x00000000 - also known as a null pointer exception.

I've also been seeing signs of runaway memory usage (probably a memory leak) that runs my computer out of memory. This doesn't happen with any other large game. This computer can run Warframe and Elder Scrolls Online without problems.

Verified integrity of game files - found no problems either. It's not caused by corrupted files.

you are correct. but I am starting to worry that the small team they have working on this might not be enough. they seem to be on a steady slide of work buildup that they are unable to finish. bugs keep piling up and only few are ever fixed. I'm hoping it is just the recent migration to steam that is causing a backlog. Hopefully they get through it soon, because this is a fun game when it works.

Edit; There was no game update Monday but, there was a Steam update on Monday.

Totally broken game. It's crashes randomly with mods or without.

And I installed the game just yesterday, my pc fully meets the recommended requirements, and even exceeds them. So if you can't tell what my fault is that game crashes, then go back into your wonderland.

I have similar crash issue. Only get 20 seconds into game and CTD.
Clevo P775DM-3 nothing overclocked, winblows 10
Exception code: 0xc0000005
Fault offset: 0x000000000012e980
Have performed DSIM, SFC, disable Powershell, change allocated ram.
GPU monitor for FO76 has been 30-80% normally, spikes 100% at CTD.
GPU is nvidia GTX 1080 8gb Driver rolled back to OEM stock, no help.
Game settings all set to low. CPU & GPU never get hot.
No issues with other games or programs, just FO76 & the PTS.
These CTD issues started on the 11th May 2022
Anyone have any ideas? Or do we just give up up this game?

What are you doing here, troll? Do you want help, or not? Lots of people have the problems and look for a fix. Trolls claim problems with no fix and no clear goal beyond exhausting the community. They also say things like "totally broken game" instead of "this is the nature of my problem and the things I have tried, what else can I do?" as the previous poster had. It's not your fault, however it is directly due to what software and hardware setup you have. Check the other threads that have these issues, since you already know that there are a dozen or so of them, half dealing with rigs that have too high a performance. I will repost the actual help request now.
