god roll weapons can put her down a little quicker than legacies, but same deal would take a few
glitched dragons can put her down in a shot or two
hacked weapons can ohko her
Meanwhile, you need 1000 rounds or so to kill a ghoul with a regular assault rifle. Yeah, this game deserves Oscar for weapons balance.
Assault rifles are beginning gear, by the time you are 50 you should be using a decent gun.
Railways will one shot any ghoul, and with a halfway decent roll one or two shot level 100 super mutants
Any good fixer will one shot any ghoul, while 2 shotting the supermutants
Any good handmade will 1-2 shot any ghoul, while 2-3 shotting the supermutants
If everyone in attendance could wear steam-pirate apparel, that would be perfect.
"FIre the auto cannons! We'll get that Queen's booty sure enough, boys!"
Imagine if crippling wings was a requirement to the fight and not optional. It would make certain perks/weapons valuable to success.
Tactics and coordination are sadly missing from FO76, every man (person) for themselves!
Silo run is the only end game content, and now even that is broken. I don't blame brain dead morons with hacked weapons, I blame Bethesda.
Anyway, I think it is time to find another game. F76 became literally unplayable.
When I talk of tactics I mean in the big 3 boss fights (Encryptid is close), everywhere else there are enough trash mobs for anything goes.
The Earle fight was intended to have tactics with luring him into the drill, eating bombs and some other stuff but probably due to limited kiting and agro control (or even dev time) it was all removed/not programmed and fight is a straight tank and spank dps race.
I'm an old school mmorpg player and miss having some form of role in fights and often don't attend the boss fights because I find the shoot till dead aspect boring. Here's hoping the new Nuka World on tour boss will be different.
That makes much more sense, and would fit much better.
Please tell me you're at least play testing?
I wanted to come back to this as the important part of aggro and dps isn't the damage but the fire rate. Usually dps players will have the highest fire rate or longest sustain (quad/heavy).
I haven't seen the code, but from observations over time and this helpful, immortal mutant hound the A.I. works something like this.

Pick a target.
Choose an attack.
Carry out attack.
Pick a target.
The NPC picks a target one of two ways, nearest hostile or first to damage. That is where the high rate of fire comes in as the dps players are likely to be the one to hit first when the NPC is in the pick a target mode.
I've done it numerous times at SBQ to lure her in quick when playing melee. As long as I'm first to hit her, no matter how little damage, she will fly over regardless of how much damage she receives from other players in the air.
Fire hacked/glitched Two Shot Explosive Instigating Quad MIRV Broadsider.
Kill the Queen.
Ruin the game.
Bethesda doesnt care.
Neither do I, my hot date just came, adieu
