Do you know how I can get the sneak attack multiplier to be displayed?
Does this only happen when you have a sneak attack perk equipped?
Thanks in advance.
It displays as you hit them like Sneek attack damage 1.25% damage depending on how much sneek damage cards are working as i have the night time sneek damage as well so at night i see the number be lot higher.
Doing a sneek melee attack i found is hard to pull off but can be done at rare times like for real this isn't skyrim but i found a longer range melee makes it a little easier to do but, lot of the times it will go into danger mode before the hit takes place. For real guns are better and a sniper type are duhh so good as you can land so many sneak damage before the ai knows were you are.
Hmm, I get a text in the upper left corner saying I got the sneak damage multiplier. That's with a Sneak Level 2 perk card equipped.
I see the exact opposite. Sneak attack text indicator and multiplier only shows out of VATS and never in VATS. Sure you are not thinking of critical hit text which only shows when in VATS, as crits can only be done in VATS. See screenshot below. Clearly out of vats and sneak damage multiplier is showing up.
You still can be doing sneak attack bonus damage in VATS, but you don't get the text saying so.
Yes it does, for both. See screenshot below. It will show even with no sneak damage perks applied to your build. The perks simply increase the multiplier for the amount of sneak damage you are doing.
Also the damage numbers are ok to use as a guide, but are frequently unreliable. Often the damage numbers will still show you are doing big damage with the sneak bonus applied, but the enemy hp bar will only go down by a very small amount, indicating very clearly that sneak bonus is not actually working right now. Damage numbers do lie, hp bar less so.
