that said, i've been crafting stuff in my camp and half the time ghouls, rad scorpions and other things get through while i do that and they break stuff, so it will be fun to see the turrets in action :)
Ok, but how often is anyone in camp vs camp combat?
If your opponent has an advantage, retreat and only attack from a position of strength. That's strategy as defined by Sun Tzu.
That is so wrong, I have been gunned down by my six turrets at a "claimed workshop" when I was a newbie when a much higher player started pvp and I did not arrive soon enough or understand what was going on. Now some players will have more than twice the fire power at "clamed workshops" than other players.
That Russian stuff is just stupid so I will not reply.
I wasn't even there. I just showed up and saw the camp killer and took some pics. If my turrets were stronger though I might have caused more damage to them.
Again, some people are getting an advantage over others.
No, in this case it's griefers using a PvP mechanic with splash damage. Your camp won't fight back unless they are PvPing you.
I don't know what happened, but I know who did it, but I don't know the person or had interactions with them before. With over 2000 hrs myself I have never been hit before by a griefer where actual damage was done to my camp when I was there. And I have been hit by all that you mentioned and nothing, not even the crops damaged because I just "laugh" at them and watch the show. Those are actual aftermath pictures on the same road with the same cliffline on the same cloudy day and something happened when I was not there. I just had the basic turrets for occasional pest and it worked well. From the pictures though, It sure looks like that "killer" camp had a purpose in the griefing.
