Kill Blood Eagles with a blunt weapon daily challenge bug!

Has enyone else has a problem with this daily challenge? I have tried different blunt weapons! But it will say I killed 0/5!

Killed em with the super sledge i got from the event and worked just fine.

Did it with a pipe wrench. No problems.

Remember unarmed weapons are not blunt weapons.

I used a Gulper Smacker that dropped form one of the Nukaworld events, then cashed it in, lol.

Does your weapon selection include all weapons with secondary damage?

If the enemy dies from the flame or electric damage of a mod, for instance, or the explosion generated from legendary perks then that will not count towards the challenge. Same for bleeding, etc.

*also, make sure it's not something modded to "sharp" as that *might* change the "damage type" as well.

This is a silly question, but you're killing blood eagles and not raiders, right? I assume so, but I gotta confirm. Also, I ran into a weird issue when killing blood eagles for a challenge last week. When I shot them through my scope, they didn't count. When I killed with VATS, they did. Having said that, I didn't have that issue today getting my 5 melee kills with the event hammer. Their attack dogs didn't count, which is reasonable but the humans all did.

Gulper smacker I already tried before opening this topic but didn't work also a power fist did not work!

Yup like I said above. Power fist is an 'unarmed' weapon not a blunt one.
Well for F76 classification purposes at least.

Gulper smacker should have worked though. Odd.

Had to be a modification making it so they died to shock or some other type of damage or had like nails on it or some crap...

Yea our mistake is thinking of the damage type, but it's the weapon type that matters I think.
