The repair screen is confusing without this mod.
Worth a mention:
There is a perk card called Weapon Artisan in the INT tree that you can equip to repair up to 200% durability (max level card). That, when paired with Gunsmith (INT, reduces weapon durability cost, max card level is 50%) can greatly extend the durability life and a better efficiency on your mats to repair the weapon.
They do it intentionally to make people think you need these to repair weapons, before I bought the game forever ago it was made to sound like the ONLY way to repair them was kits...
Granted, now I only repair with improved kits (sbq drops) cause I have hundreds/thousands
You get better ones from certain events. You get the atom shop ones from the choreboard. And at any time, you can repair items using junk resources.
