Whitesprings robots turned hostile

I stumbled upon Whitesprings, and at first as I wandered around the golf course the assaultrons and protectrons were friendly. After a few minutes I noticed when I moused over them their descriptor was no longer yellow but had become red, indicating an enemy. I didn't get close enough to find out if they were really hostile, but I assume they'd have attacked me. I didn't do anything except wander around, didn't fire a shot or take anything.

If you've got the ricochet perk or if you happen to destroy a vehicle near one of the bots they can become hostile.

honestly, didn't do anything. Spotted a party of super mutants and floaters passing by, but didn't engage them. It was after that the bots got hostile. I left the area, will try going back later.

Hop to another server if you have the problem again, it should reset.

The bots in Whitespring are neutral to them unless you damage one of them. All it takes is one point of damage and they will all turn on you.

They will aggro you until you leave that server that time. If you are playing with friends who don’t want to leave, drop to the main menu and rejoin your friends.
