ally daily quest rewards

I heard that you can/will get a legendary weapon every time you complete an ally daily quest.
is this true? and if so is it a specific ally or both allies?

Ally as in the camp allies I'm not sure

If it's the 'Retrieve Weapon Case' Ally daily, then yes.

when it startet beckett gave that quest every time he gave one (i say it that way because since they started with the camp allies they are very wonky with there questgiing timeing, not a daily base)
but since 3 or so patches ago he rotate his questtypes, so not every time "get the weapon box" anymore

Not true, this is random, i got some junk yesterday : materials , stims and crap plans i can sell for 10c . If you want Legendaries go to Radiation Rumble, SBQ, Earl, Shipsquatch etc. quick events with 100% legendary droop

The forager mostly has the weapon case quest - it seems more than 50%.

It'll give you 1-3 star weapons. I think i remember i once got something useful, but not fully sure on that.

Recently i think i also got low tier legendary wepons from random dailies, like at camden park, and other, but rarely. Might as well have been a display bug (sometimes they throw in picked up legendary items display delayed at random).
