fallout 76 unyielding power armor
I found on the internet web a screenshots of t-51b power armor with "Unyielding" effects. As author says, that's not on PTS server. So i have a question now. Is that legacy or cheat armor? Will Bethesda ban for this items? Or this is a normal item as legacy weapons?

I doubt Bethesda bans people for using Uny PA, since people with other hacked items freely roam around in game. Spotting a hacked weapon (for example, a Cryolator with a minigun barrel and a laser rifle beam splitter) is one thing, but how can you know for certain that a player is wearing hacked armor?

Hacked armor isn't a big deal, it is minimally disruptive to other players compared to hacked weapons, The only players it'd affect are those engaging in PvP but it would essentially reveal itself in the act of PvP (most likely--especially if you're doing zero damage to them with weaponry that does massive single-shot damage doing absolutely zip).

hacked armor isn't a big deal? imagine someone using it in pvp, hacked anything is wrong, and should be removed from game. you know how long it takes to legit player to get gear with good rolls? think about it and then again tell me it isnt a "big deal"

If you re-read what I said, I stated it would only be disruptive to players that engage in PvP. You have confirmed this.

I was shown a link for the Beths that even says there is no Unyielding PA in 76 adventure.
I keep being told this.
Either people are dropping weird, rando unyielding t45 and raider power armor at events on legendaries I've killed or something isn't working right; got another random drop piece this last week. Certain users believe it absolutely won't drop, and according to the Beth's update notes it doesn't happen, either, so it's led me to run full diagnostics on my rig jic it's *somehow* on my end (it's not).

So if you run into it as a drop, I think it's best to consider it a broken/glitched or hacked item and script it. Likewise, if someone else has it, don't automatically assume they're a Hack. They could easily have picked it up or received it from another player; not being a PA user I don't worry about this too much, but if you are it's something worthy of consideration I guess.

I've never encountered an unyielding PA piece dropped from a creature or given as an Event reward. It would most likely be an injected item.

As for it being relatively harmless compared to lets say hacked weapons game wise i agree but for server stability its just as distruptive as any other piece of injected frankenstein crap and its still causes the game servers to constantly work on math from non legit sources and some of the guns can shut down whole servers with relative ease on there own let alone having a server with a bunch of hacked gear clowns making other real players get trapped in endless fast travel loops and ctd s and tbh any and all server to player based glitches being caused by servers over working on stuff thats not legit or tested to work in the live servers

Using it in PvP? You clearly don't do PvP as Unyielding is the absolutely lowest tier of PvP you can get.

How does an unyielding set of power armour cause the server to struggle?

There's currently a dupe involving Power Armour.

yeah i don't pvp, i mean duped items like all slots have exact same effect, it would be hard to find it legit way.
i wonder what effect people use in pvp, like human damage reduction?
Big Boss Jul 19, 2022 @ 12:46pm
Skyrocket is right they don't ban for those items. They've been around for years along with other broken/injected weapons.

That being said if you use it in pvp you're a lowlife, but no one really cares if you're using it in a pve setting. I obviously wouldn't advert it to all you're using it as you're likely to get reports and Bethesda may take action against you.

That being said, it hasn't been touched since it has been out, so I don't think Bethesda has it as a priority to be fixed and I honestly don't think they have the ability to remove it entirely.

The PvP elements in ADVENTURE mode are absolute trash.

@Duckyyy

I thought the PA stacking exploit was fixed, or is it a new technique?

you could Roll them on the test server at one time , But after seeing how OP they could be Beth took them out of the loot pool

When power Armour frames start to randomly appear as they have again at Whitesprings ect I think someones duping.
