some of the changes to perks from 1 special to another may actually hurt some builds (those that have midish to low stat with few perks suddenly find need for more space for perks that are in other special) but many of them being reduced(as they should have been from the start) to 1 card/1 rank is good.

I am somewhat looking forward to rebuilding characters (esp too that some of the perks now seem far more attractive with updated to use the actual special stat more than they are now)
Yeah, thank god, I have all my builds saved to my email so that I can quickly respec my builds and easily move things around.
use PLM so I still got the config file with the builds already there. Shouldn't be too much trouble to get back to what was, just may need to move some special around to account for some perks switching stats.

but again with the perks going from 3 to 1 means either I get some points back (Yay) or i can now use the card to full effect instead of just lv 1-2 of it.(I do wish they would do away with ALL of the ranked cards and instead go 1 for 1, then re-balance the special costs to equip around that... cuz lockpicking with 3 separate cards for 'lv 3' is kinda .. if u doing that do the same thing with weapon types, etc...)

Yep, especially with charisma affecting vendor bots up to 100 charisma (who would ever have that much CHA?).

Things like evasive, adamantium skeleton and four leaf clover are useless at 'regular' values between 15-20.

The unyielding meta keeps getting stronger while off brand play styles get stiffed... again...

unyielding is getting a serious nerf in survivability

current 45% chance to avoid below 30% hp
to % luck chance to avoid below 30% hp with a cooldown
probably not going to be 2 points per point of luck probably 1% per point so it'll be 30-35% chance to avoid below 30% hp with a cooldown which is a serious nerf
That isn't how you nerf Unyielding - a nerf to Unyielding specifically would target the actual Unyielding effect, not all the things that every other non-Unyielding build also uses and needs for survivability.

This change to perks to use high values of stats is bad. Needs a reverse or they actually just buffed Unyielding -again- while nerfing every single other build that is not Unyielding.

I don't use unyielding except on 2 players who have one piece each. Everything else is Vanguards on the other 8.

I am hoping the 'scales with (Special)' effect is set to a cap of 'up to x value' and not the 100 for charisma(which may be silly .. either side.. if charisma needs to be 100 to get current trade value for items, that would SERIOUSLY suck and a huge nerf that was never needed... but, worse, if someone with 100 charisma can sell 1 stim for 1400 credits, that is a HUGE silly blundermove imo.)

It almost feels like YouTube people jumping on the same post and re-posting. Everyone posting the same post today back to back.

I still need actual content to engage with beyond skinnerbox nonsense.

Fallout is a storytelling RPG, transforming it into an MMO doesn't change that.
People nowadays thinks everything is a tiktok, if it requires them to pay attention for more than 30 seconds, they don't even bother.
Few people actually bother reading terminals, notes, talking to NPCs and actually engaging with the story Fallout 76 has to tell.
I've even seen people not bothering with the game because ''too much to read.''
And those who didn't left, skip all the dialogues and go straight to the bang-bang.
My first character has every single note, holotape and piece of lore that the game allowed me to pick up.
I've seen games ripping off the lore their game had because people were asking for skins, not lore.
Also i've seen people complaining about every content they add to the game, people just likes to hate at this point.
I hope they don't stop adding secret quests, secret stories, terminals, notes, npcs.

Just play the game and forget about the grind for meta. When you get there, it might not be what you thought it was.

if the story was good people would read but its not
the story IMO is 0 effort slog full of characters that I care nothing about

The 4th star weapon effect called "Conductors" is absolutely broken in its current form. It restores AP and HP for scoring crits.

Builds using Fixer, Handmade, Assault Rifle, Railway etc in Vats are going to be immortal while scoring crits and getting extra AP per crit as well to stay in Vats longer. It needs to change. No chance it is going to make it to live the way it is.

There's also the fixes to empath and speed demon mutations to damage mitigation. Lots of players are going to be very squishy soon. Maybe it's a good thing to finally add the glass to glass canon.

But the problem with things like evasive is at around 15 agility it's only a 5% chance to avoid damage. Serendipity at around 15 luck was 13% chance to avoid damage.

If you get those stats up then I don't know if combined (independent chances) players would have similar to now's Serendipity damage avoidance. If they do it takes the glass back out again.

But... why bother to avoid damage when ricochet in heavy/PA armour is really strong... Again with ricochet gaining a % boost with luck.

I popped into the PTS for a little bit to check everything out. My perks did not change all that much, basically 4 pts across a few specials. However, I love the changes to the lever action and the revolver. I basically use both when I am roaming and the damage greatly incresed.
