I have a full fledged store, I sell everything, I have everything for sell from Food to Aid to Plans/recipes to Legendary Mods to scrap to ammo.
Currently I have x6 legendary mod modules in my store, x2 Assassins, x2 Executioners, and x2 Weightless, I have x2 more executioners sitting in my inventory, I dont put more than two up at a time for sale to prevent people from buying me out and then dumping it on their vendor for more money, I am thinking about changing the pricing how ever when I hop in game today. Maybe default everything that doesnt use serums to 10,000 caps and bump the ones using serum up to 15,000 to 20,000 caps. I did have to buy the plan and they arent cheap to craft as weightless requires bird bone serum to craft which to craft bird bone serum requires stabilized flux.
Yep it is stupid that they dont have separate icons for the previews. But they could save a lot of time but isolating even the ammo icon into two, ballastic and energy. I dont know how many camps I went to with 5,000+ ammo looking for fuel to buy only to be met with the same old only 5mm rounds for sale nothing else ammo wise.
Ah ok, thats where its different, you are talking about ***Lightweight where as I am talking about *Weightless. They both give you -90% weight but one is a * while the other is a *** star. I prefer the * for weight reduction as it keeps the *** free for more useful effects. To craft what I have the *Weightless, it can be applied to weapons or armor, I got it from one of the many * weapons I were scrapping on day two that only had Weightless effect. As you can see in this image, mine takes Bird Bone Serum to craft, which isnt cheap to make. The ***Lightweight using just cork and a bunch of legendary modules to craft, its not that valuable in my eyes cause every event drops modules now and ones that used to only drop cores are not dropping modules. To get modules in game is not hard, do 5 events and you got enough modules to craft x5 *legendary pieces which require 15 modules to craft.

After seeing how I saw no change in damage to my Aristocrat Cremator when I spent almost 20,000 caps on buying the bird bone serum I am thinking about crafting a *Weightless mod and replacing my *aristocrat mod with weightless so I can knock that down and lighten my load a bit. I also am not a fan of anything that is tied to your current condition be it health, hunger, thrist, or wealth. I have always had a preference towards weightless, two shot, and quad ammo. Quad ammo is great on high rate of fire weapons like the gatlin gauss gun or on the laser gatlin which I have one with the zealot perk that I stacked the prime ammo perk ontop of for double the scorch damage ontop of the quad ammo perk. I just dont have weightless on it cause I liked the roll and didnt want to lose the zealot and quad ammo roll.
Cheap module wise yes, but bird bone serum is not cheap to craft since it requires stabilized flux. Yes it only uses x1 stabilize flux, it still requires you to either A) grind out a nuke zone for high radiation fluid, harden mass, and collecting unstable flux from various plants or simply doing a nuke event that gifts you a few random stabilize flux at the end. For someone that is starting out its going to be expensive to craft especially considering the price of the recipe for Bird Bone serum is 21,000 caps without any cost reductions applied.
The price and value how ever will come down over time as the market stabilizes and more people are able to craft and sell these items. I just didnt expect people to be crazy enough to mark these items for more than 10,000 caps in these early days but I guess I was wrong on that. I can see them being around a 5,000 cap item once prices stabilize how ever.
Another thing that has gone up in value in these early days is bobble heads, I jacked my price up another 200 caps to 400 caps for the bobble heads I am selling. Some legendary modules to craft require bobble heads to make. If people dont buy what I am selling thats fine too, once I learn those plans I will roll those bobble heads into crafting legendary modules which will then go for between 2,000 and 10,000 caps depending on how the market is doing.
Yep, and if my prices or other players prices are too outrageous then dont buy give it a month or two the prices will come down. Rarity makes these items valuable and while the number of people able to craft said items is relatively low the price will stay up there till the market gets flooded with said items then the price comes down. I dont think I would craft and sell any module but my *weightless one after the market stabilizes in a month or two. I just dont see the others selling as easily as something so universally wanted as a mod that drops your items weight by 90%.
How did you get so many plans since the update started? I have scrapped close to 100 legendary's, mostly 3 star, and only got 2 agility modules?
Yes, I know. I haven't gotten any plans and only 2 agility mods.
Yeah, checked tinkers bench. Actually got a plan after i posted. Not worth it for the amount of grind and scrapping.
It is, and what sucks for me is I am close to 100,000 5mm ammo in my ammo stash, I havent used 5mm ammo in multiple years. Only reason I throw what I loot in my ammo stash is I have an ammo converter I can throw the ammo into the converter, convert it into points and convert it into ammo I use. I just wont spend caps on the ammo unless its an ammo I use like Fuel. Besides that I save my caps.
Had a saved a bunch of legendary items in my stash box and on my character for scrapping. By the 1st I couldnt fast travel I spent five days leading up to the 3rd update hoarding legendaries my character weight was up to 600 lbs by the night of the 2nd when I logged out. I also hoarded about 20 low level 3 star legendary T45 arms I crafted to pad things out a bit since I didnt want to lose the cores I had for a horrible 1:1 exhange rate.
Besides that I dont know if its because I have the scrapper perk card that gives more items when scrapping I dont know if that has an effect on legendary plan/mod drop rate or not.
Im starting to do that as well unless it has a effect I want but I havent seen one yet only more *Weightless which I already learned. I did scrap three weapons today with ***Lightweight legendary effect but havent got anything to drop today but I am only at 4 weapons and 3 armor scrapped.
