They broke the compass inside power armour.

I'm not sure if it's all sets, but my pioneer scout excavator power armour compass is broken. I can see the direction I'm travelling in but not landmarks or waypoints at all. Quite annoying to do those area quests now.

Same, no markers at all when in power armor, was doing Daily Ops, need to use Berry Mentats to figure out where the enemies are

I had to go into options and turn off the PA hud option and that sort of fixed it. Can still use PA, and can see markers on the compass again, but don't get the PA overlay anymore which, as a 3rd person player I kind of liked

Wait I didn't think of this - Thank you! Sucks not having the overlay but it's definitely better than trying to do Daily Ops with no compass lmao

Every time they drop a big patch, seems like the map / compass gets totally ♥♥♥♥♥♥. Should be fixed... eventually. Don't know why this is such a damn problem. If only they had a Public Test Server to check what would happen when a huge patch is applied. *rolls eyes*

As previously mentioned, a temporary fix is to turn off your power armor HUD in your display settings. That seems to fix most of the issue, but then you don't have your power armor display (like energy remaining in your power core). *Edit: I guess you can see your armor's power core level... its just a little non-descript bar when the HUD is off.

I Hope so for a Hotfix... Cause im Not alone with this Problem... Since the Patch i cant use anymore the Hellcat PA- cant See any Markers, Location or Something...

I realy cannot Unterstand how IS IT posibly to Patch an 3 years Old Bug INSIDE 76 again... What the f...

Anyone knows maybe a Mod can fix IT ?

You can use the solution above as a temporary fix - you'll have no PA specific UI, just your normal HUD that you see outside of armour, but you'll then be able to play as normal with a working compass.

Hopefully with enough people reporting it they'll do a hotfix or something sooner rather than later to fix it.

Today I saw a headless player walk around in his power armor (frame only). Not sure what that was all about. So it's not just the HUD. By the way, if I only wear a power armor frame, at the start of my session, I have a bunch of pieces that explode off my frame that were not even installed. This game is all over the place. So, I guess, it comes with the territory.
