Why is my camp not a best build camp?

Why is my camp not a best build camp? I did everything right, I tagged it, took pictures, uploaded it to the server and... Silence. I still have it as a normal camp, without that blue ribbon around it.

It doesn't show up as a best build in your own world, only in others. If you notice a best build camp and try to find that player in your server they won't be in the list. I assume this has something to do with preventing abuse within groups

Click "Manage your submission" on your camp icon on the map to see how many upvotes your camp has got. That will confirm that others can see your best camp.

Thats what I did like an hour ago I estimate I had no upvotes I need to head back to my camp check it again cause its been close to 2 hours since I set up my Super Duper Mart store build as a best build.

I posted mine 12 hours ago and I have 0 votes. And this is a very nice camp. I saw a few simple camps that got a dozen or so votes. Or maybe it has to be a new camp, built after the update? I don't know.

If it only shows camps of those who are not on the server, where do they come from on this server? People who were there before, or do they draw from some pool?

The limitation of the size of camps results from the fact that the more items players build, the greater the load on the server. So instead of increasing the size of camps for players, they prefer to throw in some ghost camps that generate load on the servers.

Try going back to the main menu and going back into a server and check again. I saw that 0 votes after many hours in game, I got a random crash finally after some 9 hours of play came back and saw I suddenly had 14 votes. I guess the votes dont update live and you have to leave and come back.

Camp will be featured on some other private or public server. Rest is completely luck based.

At the moment, this mechanic is still buggy anyway. For example, the trader machines in the "Best Build Camps" don't work.

Maybe Bugthesda should think about testing this beforehand.

its not a bug. u cant trade with best camp because they r not on ur server and might not even be online. nobody dont want their cap maxed out without knowing

whomever submitted their camps first yesterday sucked up all the likes then snow balled to more likes. i submitted 5 camps, first one got 31 likes all the other all 10ish, i saved my best camp for last and took a long time to submitted - 0 likes. it mostly time/luck based, most ppl will like anything to get the daily done and stop voting at all after that, so dont feel bad if u dont get any likes

Are you sure about this?
Your camp will only be shown when you are online, it will only upload the photos so they can be shown during previews. I don't think you can visit a camp if the player is not online. OK, I could be wrong, but I haven't read what you are saying anywhere.

Oh, and your camp only appears on the server you are currently playing on. Just imagine if all the best-built camps were visible everywhere. There would be chaos, especially at the hotspots. Nowhere did it say that nothing can be sold in these camps! Or I missed that, which is also possible.

Best builds are purely copies of your build; they will not be showcased on the server you are playing on; instead on some other server randomly. They *should* be rotating every hour, but currently they are not.
