Anybody else having a hard time finding the Treasure Hunters?
I've been following a map guide on a private server and still have a hard time finding them.
I spent 2hrs, visited about 15 locations and only found 3. Did this a couple of times with the same results.

Haven't done this event before, so I don't know if they are this hard to find or just having bad luck.

Yep, I did this today for awhile on a regular server and went to about 10 locations and found only one. Went on my private and went to the same place's and found 0. Maybe they changed the spawn place. Found my one at Cam Park. Felt sorry for him and gave him some lunch and let him flee.

allegedly they shifted the spawn rate by a decimal point again

They've had this bug a couple times in the past and went opps our bad and redid it

with no new plans its unlikely other players killing them all so I'd buy that bugfesta yet again festa'ed a bug

Buying medium priced pails and crafting them yourself is a much more enjoyable experience.

Didn't find one on the Public servers.
Private had 4 and only after 20+ minutes of searching via a recent guide.

ya...terrible this time round. hardly any appearing compared to previous events. I spent 30K on the mid-sized pails...hoping to get that 1 last final plan I needed..the golf carts...

Low and behold, I thought I'd give it one last go on the hunt..and boom..got that plan...

And I think I have it twice now....this is my favourite event...the hide and seek...but yeah..there could be a few more of them

Had notice this, even the cultist is more easily to find. Good thing is: the only thing that worth seeking from treasure hunting this time is Junkyard Fountain, which not really a need with what I got on my camp. No hassle to looking them this time which more time to expedition.

First time I went out today I found 2 at the lake docks. I assume it's like the festive scorched and if no one actually kills the mob that the Treasure Hunter has a chance of replacing, it just stays that mob for everyone until someone kills it and gives it a chance to spawn the hunter.

That's exactly what I've been doing.
I'm just gonna play normally and if i find them I find them. Not wasting anymore time looking for them. Thanks!
On a side note: It was easier finding the 10 Holiday Scorched.

I played again tonight for about 1 hour. Ran into only three. They seem to be really spread out. Where I could find 2 or 3 in a big area i only found 1. I have not hunted them for 2 years, so maybe they changed sense then. I will run into more by just doing my dailies and weekly stuff.

I spent 4 hours on private server hitting everything in the Ash Heap/Forest/Divide and managed to locate a measly 3. Naturally all 3 had dusty pails with no plans.

I'd planned on spending the next 2 days treasure hunting but with such abysmal spawn rates I'd rather watch paint dry. Shame because I really wanted that Garahan outfit.

I'm playing on Public Servers and I'm not having a problem.
Sometime I find them, sometimes I find a body or nothing. Sometimes I score and find 2.
RNGesus is fickle.

They're more noticeable when they don't have any other events going on. They're one of the few things that actively run away from you too.

this is the first time i allmost encounter none. during my regular game (dailies/weeklies+some progress in my alt's main quests), i encountered 0 of them since last tuesday.

i haven't even noticed that they were in game. this post informed me.

so, last night, after reading this, i went to some places thay used to spawn and just could get 1 in 30mns so i stopped.

Well, i did the run, according to Addicted Gaming YouTube video and got only 6 ( i stopped at Morgantown Airport )

No idea if it is worth the pain (i will open all the reward containers i got since the Scortched event after the 3th of september)

I mean i am finding them but it sure does for sure feel less than last time. Done several full runs around the map on a few different servers and i am definitely seeing less than usual.
