Scrapping Legendary Weapons Like "Gauss" Weapons

Will I be able to scrap all the Gauss weapons I have been saving for years like the Mini Gun, Plasma Castor and Shotgun. The one's I have on each player are all Vampire with 90% weight reduction. What would I be looking for to gain.

I don't think you need to scrap anything which is already perfectly functional. I mean, wouldn't you just be re-rolling to try and get vampires weightless weapons anyway?

Only scrap crap (tm).

I guess so, just don't use them anymore. All ten of my players have a Exp. Vampire 50 that they use. It took 3 years or longer rolling 50cals everyday to get them. But now I have 27 regular(3star) Vampire 50 cals in my stash. All are 90% weight deduction, they are the only ones I saved because it was easy to put in their stash. If I scrape them can I get the plan or mod for Vampire or weight reduction for 50cals. Just to add, Gauss weapons only take 2 Modules to roll right now. SS is one module, rolled maybe 100 last night just to see what I would get ( 10 each on each player). 9 of them are just standing there now wondering what to do with it all.

Yep, just wondering. If I can and I can get it so I can make them later if I need them, I could clear my stash up and have my storage girls on the road again. The life of a hoarder is no longer fun hahahhahahha.

If you scrap one weapon and get like anti armor mod you can use that mod on any other weapon :)

So lets say you scrap a fixer and get an anti armor mod from that, you can then use it on a gatling plasma or what ever other weapon, if you learn the plan well then you can make anti armor mod at will "well almost" you need legendary modules to craft them.

Same goes for 2 and 3 star effects :)

Personally i am going to get Bloodied and Explosive mods "hopefully" and then put them on a trashy gatling plasma as explosive returns for energy weapons "just not flamers".
I hope that explosive flamers return i miss my BE OG flamer :)

Really Wow, so I can just scrape the 137 fixers I have and hope to get a bunch off them instead of scraping all the good ones I just want to keep. That would be Heaven kinda, still would be bad for my storage girls.

That would be a troll post, they are rare but not that rare, in my tests i gained one mod each 10 scrap overall on PTS and also got a few plans, i scrapped a total of 250 legendary weapons :)

I finally found some good info on line, but seems the way to go would to be by getting Mods, but they will sell for big stuff and maybe trade only for awhile. If someone had a Mod that I really wanted it would be no problem for me to put down 40,000 caps. But most newer player would be grinding for caps all the time. Plus if you put a Mod on it I think you can no longer sell or trade that weapon. Still can not find any info on Gauss stuff or SS armor or T65.

No. That’s not the way it was for those on the PTS or the descriptions from Bethesda. An Explosive box mod (either dropped from scrapping, or made to a recipe learned by scrapping) can be put onto any weapon that can use Explosive.

I'm just happy this update will make it easier to get good rolls for un-tradable weapons like the crusader pistol and the plasma caster.

Some of those Mod Boxes take some wild stuff to craft. Some you can make and some things you can only find in the world. Gonna be a long grind just to get them. Gee I wonder how that happened. Wow can make a Mod Box-only need this rare item (or 35 of them) that I maybe find 1 or 2 a week of. Gonna get you one way or another i guess.

What are the worst recipes? I’ve only seen ones that required a single bobblehead or serum.

I found a list of them that was on the internet-sorry can't remember. There was a list of about 100. Some easy and some not. some only 1 or 2 items. Some were going to be a little harder to find. The price for 1 drug will cost a bundle now I bet. It can take up to 35 of them and they can not be made-only spawn in 6 or 7 places and maybe in some vendors (but not for long.
