at least that's the one i usually run. its pretty OP
Flamer barrel mod tends to be kind of rare. Have an extra.
Every other mod is up to you. Pistol might be slightly better for less weight.
Medic heals NPC and players by default so what benefit does FF perk add?
I've done "Test Your Metal" enough to see when people are selfish for getting most of the XP and then it fails b/c people don't prioritize the 3 NPCs.
My main's primary build is Stealth Sniper.
If the two mods you suggested give longer range over the Flamer one I might try that one.
I'm not interested in doing the "mostest, bestest, most awesome mega damage".
As a sniper my main has done countless things to every enemy with my Cripple Fixer alone.
I've seen people use the "Confused" pose b/c I'm invisible and the enemy is crippled within seconds and they don't know what's going on. 🤣
Switching to a new build keeps it from getting boring and why I left for a long time.
I recently did switch it to Commando but focusing on the Laser Carbine.
Just extra healing. Not really needed in most situations as the multiple projectile thing will heal fairly well on its own.
Plasma guns with splitters are fairly inaccurate though, lasers can be far more useful here. Regardless to improve accuracy use any true mod or any that increase VATS accuracy (that is a mislabeled stat as it does nothing for VATS but hip fire accuracy, tighter reticle).
Edit: Side note: Adding a splitter and a stock to plasma guns pushes the AP drain through the roof. At that stage they only become useful outside of VATS.
If I personally wanted to pimp out an enclave plasma I'd go instigating sniper but that's me.
The point is the gun already has medics on it. I was in a similar situation with a medics enclave plasma.
I used up the splitter mod and many other useless mods (scope) just, because, they were useless in my stash.
Exactly. I'm trying to save him the trouble and not bother with medics unless he can put it on a proper weapon. He should scrap the enclave and hope for a mod.
I've never used a TR and I have that one named one that came with Skyline Valley.
I would be a horrible secondary healer not knowing how to use it. 😂
I'd have to learn how to use it before considering changing it or making one.
I have a Laser Carbine with it I call my Holy Pew Pew. That things RUNS through ammo faster than Usain Bolt.
I'm trying to find something more ammo efficient with a 3 Star and Medic's.
Rifle build.
