You and I both know midwits will fast travel to the closest build and like it without even glancing at it. The honor system proved to be a failure.
Half these kids are still running around unmutated (another topic altogether) so why would we expect their CAMP look good?
They spawn even inside private servers. It's just ghost images of people's junk. No need to get upset over it.
Frankly, I don't get this "best build" stuff at all - what's the point of it, what does the author gain from being upvoted etc. But there are situations when I am grateful to find even crap build because I need to interact with it for a daily task - and if it doesn't deserve my vote, I simply retract it.
At any rate it's better than the alternative of serverhopping 10 times to find that one truly-deserving-of-the-title Best build camp
That's the problem with the system, the players and not the system itself. Everyone wants those likes and thinks their ♥♥♥♥ doesn't stink. ALL camp builds in this game stink.
No one is building a masterpiece without over use of exploitable glitches. No one is building 'true to life' because of scaling and inability to rotate objects in multiple planes to create chaos. Everyone's camp is so 'perfect' and sterile.
So instead of getting upset no one likes your crap just accept no matter how much time and effort you put in, it's still crap anyway.
Fact: If I need to like a "Best Build" CAMP to complete a challenge, I will like the absolute first closest "Best Build" CAMP I can get to in order to vote for it.
Don't hate the playa, hate the game.
300% player drop off rate just on steam post show release. is impressive for an ip this old extremely impressive
You wouldn't know if it was if it's an actual build on your server, because it doesn't work like that. It will show up as a normal build if you and the player are on the same server.
Nobody was under the illusion that cringe stream would be interesting or consequential.
After years, this game defied odds and optics. It struggled to find an identity but now its finally getting what it needs.
Now, Beth has its issues, Ill be the first to say so - but imo Beth's biggest problem is their obnoxious borderline-psychotic fanbase.
They complain that the game is too easy, but get angry when something gets nerfed. BW6 was OP, cope.
They complain theres not enough build variety but scoff at the marinade of options bc its not hitting meta DPS in an easy game.
They complain theres no PvE endgame, but get angry that raids excluding the casul/solo player.
They complain theres no Fallout 5 teaser on Fallout Day yet TES6 is years out and contemplating a possible engine change.
They complain about how the CAMP pets are.... CAMP pets.
What world are these people living in?
Concurrent player count on 76 at time of writing is 14k, and people log on/off constantly. Its not dead... Theres actual hype for Gleaming Depths.
