The simplest way is to use all heavy weapon related perks (also if you had, perks that do extra damage against glowing enemies), Holy Fire flamer weapon (most effective since not only heal the brahmin but you can keep yourself healed) or cremator (huge damage and dot). Against end of course enemies, if you had to dealt with yao guai or deathclaw, aim for the legs then make the kill. Against Blue Devil and Ouga, let them mauled each other, and stay clear of their line of sight. Against feral vs losts, once picked enough of them they usually fall back. anything else is relative easy, kill the alpha and the rest leave.
I have noticed some players fail because they concentrate on killing foes rather than tending to their cow.
You don't have to kill everything.
I use a branding iron with extra flame attachment and one star of friendly fire to heal the cow and a stimpak for the character.
After a short time the cow can be hurried up and you can run away after you get the message to kill whatever enemies are attacking.
For instance the last run for my low level character spawned in with mole miners firing rocket launchers and hitting the cow with their gauntlets.
So stay near the cow, heal the cow, kill the ones hitting the cow ( I use an auto axe but chainsaw is also good) then hurry up the cow and run away. Similar when honey beasts and Mirelurks spawn in with you.
Invest your earned supplies in cow feed upgrades and you end up with a tanky cow that can just about look after itself.
At the end when you get a message to drop off the supplies do it straight away because if the cow gets killed before you deposit the goods it's a fail.
Running Speed, if you have to walk to the event avoid. Or If you worried about people running away with your Brahmin, skip it.
When you can buff your Brahmin, its pretty good. Un-upgraded a Glowing Level 100 Death Claw can take it out in a one or maybe 2 swipes. 3 If or a little more, if you get it upgraded, or that is what I have counted after spawning back in. So, you might want a Medic weapon to spam on the Brahmin, or "Friendly Fire" with a flame thrower, or Cremator. And get to the Blue Ridge Delivery box, before the Brahmin dies.
One Yoa guai, is bad at level 100, and in a few swipes, can kill the Brahmin. Four is very bad, Try to draw their attention to you, and get the delivery in the box. Tunnel is very bad, if Yoa guai attack there, and the swarm the Brahmin.
Power armor is a great help. When there are Four, Yoa guai, or the Death Claw. But, when to get in? Well there is a middle event with the caravan, of a blocked road, a Orange Mister Handy with a Witch Hat, and or A Non-Player Caravan in need of Help. After this, or one or two more rushes with the Brahmin, Put on your Power armor, you are near the end.
Right now, or before the last Halloween patch, The Blue Devil, and Ouga do not really attack the Brahmin, but if the Blue Devil does it can be a one shot. Try to draw their attention, only if they attack. Other Wise, just put the delivery in the box.
That should be it. When, Windy the Cryptid Hunter, arrives, she will have bait for you to carry on your Cavavan. Now you will get a Cryptid to show up,... more difficulty.
