My junkie (or other) prefix weapons stopped adding extra dmg
Has this happened to anyone else before?
This was working fine awhile back, but a couple days ago I noticed that my junkie weapons are no longer adding 40% dmg for my 4 addictions. It adds 10% for my perk card, but not addictions. I tested this by buying a new weapon at a vendor. In vendor's stash: dmg 140. In my inventory, dmg 140. Holding the bloody thing, dmg 140, and that's the dmg shown at the bottom of my pip boy screen too. I'm sure this is not general, as the internet would be in meltdown if bugthezda broke junkie mode. Anyone have this problem before with junkie or bloodied or other weapons? Armor works fine still (my mutant armor still adds +10 res for my mutations.)

I've tested out a bloodied weapon and that still works as expected, dmg shown on the weapon's stats (while I´m holding it) will go up as my health goes down. It's only junkie that doesn´t work. It's as if the game no longer recognizes my addictions, though I have checked and they are still there.

Maybe getting a new one or removing an old one would fix it?

Not just you, I was running junkie and things weren't dying ... spotted the double XP weekend news and rebuilt to bloody for the int from armour but my bloody weapon was bugged too so may be a bit different. Strangely after 2 or 3 disconnects (also a new experience) it seemed to fix itself ... lvl 100 scorched went from taking 10 - 15 head-shots in VATS to taking 3 or 4.
I'll see if it is a problem the next time i boot up and will update you if it is.

Thanks, it's worth keeping an eye on it. I logged in 10 different times and played around with a lot of perks etc, no change. I even put in a bug report to Bugthezda, for laughs... If all else fails, I'll try removing and re-adding my addictions, and then reinstalling my game entirely.

logged in today - my junkie handmade is doing almost 150 per shot, my bloody is doing 105 per shot at 30% health. Not the same issue, but something weird going on.

I removed and readded some addictions, same result, and I noticed my perk cards seem to not always take effect either. I am going to have to reinstall and see if that fixes it.

Bugthezda got back to me with some generic 'yeah, we're buggy, we'll fix this in some upcoming patch'.

Here's the exact message, though it doesn't seem quite coherent, or related to my issue (my problem is not armor pieces, and my weapon is melee so kinda hard to reload, and also huh?)

"We are aware of an issue where reloading a weapon may cause the bonuses on legendary armor pieces to not work as intended. This can be fixed, temporarily, by either reloading the weapon a second time or by unequipping and re-equipping the piece of armor with the bonus that is no longer active. This will be resolved in a future patch."

Not everyone can be having these issues or the forums would be in meltdown mode, so I am giong to wait for the end of the double xp event and reinstall just in case.

In case anyone else has similar issues... I tried a complete deinstall + deleting the My Games FO76 folder, but the problem persists. It seems something has corrupted in my character on the server side. My junkie weapons behave erratically, some get almost 30% dmg added, others stay stuck at 10%, no change. (I did a good deal of number crunching and problem testing.)

Bethesda escalated the issue to a senior tech support person, who escalated it to dev, who, I was reminded,'do not respond to Feedback Reports' but who will 'be able to resolve the issue in an upcoming patch or update.'

Sure.
