Perks you disable after using
Perks you disable after using and switch to another one?

Not many for me,
lockpick is one, but I usually keep one point on, so dont take them all off

Dont need things like the rad-x perk or the stimpack perk unless radiation or poison in target area...

hacking for sure

what are some other ones

Pretty much down to just crafting perks for me. I keep my lockpicking and hacking in my back pocket, but not much else.

Two repair perks (200%): one for armour, one for guns; one perk to craft chems (double amount) and one perk to craft ammo (+80%). For lockpicking and hacking I just use legendary perk

On CHA, I swap between Inspirational and Lone Wanderer based on whether I'm power-levelling or just knocking out storylines, and also swap Travel Agent out for Friendly Fire if I'm in an event where someone needs to be kept alive.

Lockpick and Hacking can be replaced with Legendary perks (Master Infiltrator or so with better bonus, auto unlock depending that card level) so you can free up some other perk slot. Usually I change my perk card depend on what weapon I carry, along with repair card and CHA cards, depends wheter I'm on team or not.

Anything that i am not currently using such as crafting and lock pick/hacking. Also event specific ones like friendly fire for Rad rumble or others and then swap it out afterwards.

super duper, scrapper, gunsmith periodically, chemist, born survivor, green thumb, hard bargian, lone wanderer all get swapped in and out as they are useful/not.

Same as this except I never remove green thumb-never wanna miss double carrots. Oh, and when I need lots of meat I put in 3 star meat picker upper for Gulpers. 200 is payday.

Green Thumb for when I need to get the Challenge for getting plans and if needed for cooking.
Any Crafting/Repair/Building perks only when I need them.
Super Duper is awesome at max rank. Extras can be scrapped, sold, used, etc.

Quick Hands. Mostly you don't need it and in situations where you do you can't count on it. Fun idea but not when there are so many better Luck perks.
globefish23 Nov 4, 2024 @ 1:49am
Green Thumb
Butcher's Bounty
Hard Bargain
Animal Friend
Contractor
Fix It Good
Weapon Artisan
Ammosmith
Home Defense
Super Duper

Thanks for replies

I dont remove the gun or melee weapon crafing ones because my weapons break more slowly, but maybe it's not all that worth it. Depending...

melee weapon one could probably be removed I rarely use it except when big mobs of insects like the teapot ... also sometimes fun to use on in zombie-ville in PA

Stopped using lone wanderer as the team one seems better and I usually join a team anyway, why wouldnt you you can fast travel for free and do some shopping also

I noticed the repair to 130% perk for armor did not get it yet tho as 3/5 of my armor is not that great anyway, & tends to break very slowly for me,

did not see the weapon to 130% one yet hope to get this right away was thinking cant get it until higher level,, right now I am 38, but maybe need to look that up as I NEED that one ASAP. My guns are breaking very fast even with the lvl 5 crafting/break slower perk on.

OK weapon artisan is lv 40 so soon

Chinese stealth armor + single fire weapon. That was enough for me up until lvl 100, at that point I already had part of the armor set (SSA) and idea about solid build

Basically all the crafting perks , there is no point of having them in combat . I think I make an exception only to scrapper as I just want to scrap everything anytime rather than play the slot it and slot out game for it.

Yes. I have two builds one marked Combat and the other CAMP. The only problem is that I to often forget to swap back to Combat when leaving CAMP :-(
