where can I mine for black titanium in the forest and ash heap regions? I know about the fire breather test site in the ash heap, where else? thanks in advance

Mole miners are the best source of it

a little bit west of nuka world on tour there's a vein, but you have to build a camp around it and there's one on a cliff in the mire right above ellas bunker. you need acid and a chemistry station to refine it though.

Underneath Welch station amongst the plenty of mole miners there is a crevice, a sorts of ravine or cliff wall. Walk the narrow and there should be a yield of black titanium.

In the forest, Gorge Junkyard has a hole of black titanium ore. A chemistry bench is inside the shed.

Running Earth Mover quest at the Mount Blair workshop yields plenty of different ores into a collection box for the duration of 30 minutes.

thanks that was all helpful, I just wish my new, full suit of power armor didnt glitch into oblivion after i tried to modify it in my power armor station...

Mole Miner Backpack Frames. If, I remember correctly, are a good source of Black Titanium. Tag your item for a search in your Pipboy.

Outside the Rusty Pick and a few other places like the Nuka Cola factory are U mine it! machines.

Buy the maps they sell (3 per server) and click on them in pipboy. They'll start the Lucky Strike quest.

Find the mound in the area. Click on it. Receive Black Titanium and other resources. All 3 maps yield around 60 Black Titanium.

If you are trying to make excavator armor I wouldn't bother.
Ultracite power armor is much better.
If you are making it for the carry weight set boost then I "guess" bother but your still easy pickings if you don't know the pvp rules.
