Please, take a candy

I'm at my wits end trying to do the "Give out candy" daily. I built a camp right next to the whitespring to attract as many people as I could, and the entire thing is nothing but my vending machine, and a heavily highlighted candy bowl. I've had multiple people visit, buy something, then leave without taking a candy. It just happened for the third time in a row today, and it hurts.

So please, even if you've already done your own trick-or-treat challenge, take a candy. Don't be the person to stop others doing their own challenges.

in my area, small houses with small gardens, each year i see some band of costumed kids...accompanied by Mum or Dad.

so freaked that some guy will offer candies from his pocket ?

anyway, i am so pained seing this. poor kids, treats will be cheap

It is sad... Parents where i live don't let their kids 'walk to school' even - every day the traffic is horrendous going near the school as cars are backed up or slow for blocks, it's nuts

I used to go biking alone all day, take the bus to the library, listening to music or reading the whole time, a true solo adventure - and it was every single day on Summer Holidays - what the hell do kids do now? lol

I felt the same way last night giving out candy in real life. I mean where are all of the kids? Is Halloween not a thing anymore?

I went thru 140 pieces of candy in 2 hours. There's a huge crop of kids that were conceived during a prosperous period after 2016. There will probably be an equally large crop when the covid lockdown babies catch up.

There has been stories about the game crashing by simply looking at the candy bowl.
Perhaps no one wants to take the chance.
I know that's why I don't bother.

I just watched a player take a candy and vanish, right in front of me.
I assume their game crashed, because I took a candy from a bowl a few minutes later and......found myself looking at my desktop.

Haven't had the crashing candy issue but i personally ignore WhiteSprings CAMPS because either people put their camps with the dumbest prices on their vendors or they're straight up trap camps. Both types have the same marketing idea as you. ''If i put it near WhiteSprings, people will come.''

With my camp, I have it next to the Cash Register, Highlighted by a Lit Pumpkin, and the new Trick or Treat Sign.

I have had to use the Atlantic City Weather Station, it does not make as much noise as the Halloween Weather Station.

I still have people not even found the Registrar, or Candy Dish. Even using the new one, in-case they are new, since last Halloween. If you have the Marquee Arrows from one of the vendors, you can have a lit Arrow pointing at your Candy Dish.

I always try to grab candy from any camp that I am near, but some people have their camps on the edge of the map, its a little out of the way, to walk all the way there.

But, Always try to grab candy, because I remember having so much trouble getting other to take mine.

Also, It helps if you have plans or something in your vendor to draw in people to your camp. Under 25 plans, not many come to check, near 100, a bit more stop by.

Also, there are a bunch of vendor skins, from the basic, to cash registers, to a Palm Reading Wagon, and a Red Rocket Robot in a Trench Coat. I try to look for the two candy dishes, but some, have them blend in with merging, and some don't have candy.

When you interact with the candy bowl, scroll down the check candy level, and I try to keep mine over 15 candies, and check it anytime I get back to camp. You can also when interacting with your candy bowl, add candy in increments of 1, 5, 10, 15, and all, and last check candy count. When the event ends, I just store the candy bowl, and other decorations for next year/event. Good Luck. I hope you can give out your candy.

People taking candy dropped off a cliff Sunday and I had to ask a friend. Everyone feels weird celebrating halloween into november. It should be Turkey season!

I stopped by camps and hit their candy bowl even after I completed the daily, its just the cool thing to do.

I also saw players checking my vendors but never stopping by the bowl which is clearly visible near the vendor machines...oh well, some people are just like that.

It has evolved from razer blades in the apples to fairy godmothers with adams apples. Danger unfortunately is still a factor.

There is something about putting it directly on top of the normal vendor plan that makes it very hard to find if you are not expecting the person to put it right in front of your eyes when you shop. It's funny but it's annoying. Makes it sound like it's everywhere all at once.
