When you collect it, it does not give you rads, (+5 each), correct?

Probably not because the rain barrel does not, but others do, typically with those you only get one at a time and it is not a container.

Just asking before I plop down 500 atoms. Because that would be very annoying to spend on it and have them give you rads.

So it is like what only 6 dirty waters average? That only makes 3 boiled water, but mainly I'm just trying to avoid rads... later I will get the water boiler but that is a whole ordeal

Thanks mole

I against it. If you need boiled water, buy the water boiler from either gold vendor on Crater or Foundation. You save a lot of time and resources. And you can use atoms for another things. dirty water is easy to obtained almost on any water body.

Yes and when you collect 12 of them it gives you 60 rads.

Got water tower amount of water is not a lot, seems like it should be more for how big it is. It does NOT give you rads.

Also noticed a water tower by WV lumber co, and another by whitespring station, but you can't get water from those, it's just scenery I guess, spout is not reachable.

You can buy boiled water for points at Nuka World Carnival. Pretty cheap too.

It only gives 4 dirty water, but refills fast (less than one minute)...

It is a very large and a bit ugly structure to put in your camp

sure beats going down to river over and over or using the hand pump one tho

Huh?? Are you sure? I can collect up to 20 boiled waters and there's no radiation effect when collecting except if you drink them.
Just to clarify, this water boiler that sold in Crater gold vendor:
