New raid best hvy weapon

Hey guys, I have watched a few vids and getting different input. I have only been playing like 6 months so still learning. For the raids, what do you guys think is the best or couple of the best weapons to take. I normally like using the holy fire flamer, seems to wreck everything else in the game pretty good. I haven't reached the highest level with the raiders to get the special weapon you can get from them.
I think in one of the vids it said something about a Gatling plasma or something??? I do have a pepper shaker?? Anyway, I don't want to drag the team down so I am asking for input on what would be good I could easily get or may be even make myself????
