Is there a perk to disable the view freeze when melee attacked?

I am talking about the "stagger" effect when hit in melee combat. This is one of the biggest gripes I have with the combat system is how uncomfortable feeling it is. The stagger effect is too overwhelming and just breaks my immersion. It should have been just a view jerk with reduced aim sensitivity.

It's definitely BULL HOCKEY when mobs chain-stagger you. That's why there's a mod you can apply to armor that helps if you haven't noticed.

pneumatic on chest armor is best mod for melee users. Cuts into the stagger a metric ton. Isn't the best(or even a good) choice if not melee, but for us brutes, it is the gamechanger.

Wait till March 2025. Ghouls have a proposed perk that removes all stagger effects... for some reason... (Ghouls should be fairly fragile...).

Watch them call it something lame like "Unflinching".

Grow Bigger, Stronger, Stand your ground at all costs. I just kill them before they get to close to touch me-who knows what kind of crap they are carrying on their body-Yuk. (or running away works also).

Yeah as satisfying as 2h melee is you def want to 1-shot things before the game decides to cheap-shot you.
