Thinking of getting this game with my steam deck and I have a few questions before I seriously consider buying

Thinking of getting this game for my steamdeck for Christmas since I enjoyed fallout 4, Butttt I have a few questions to ask first.

1. The Ranger armour looks very cool me want to get. I heard it comes with the fallout 1st subscription service. If I get the subscription service for like the shortest amount of time let's say one month, will I still be able to keep the free stuff I got even when the subscription ends?

2. Are there any realistic-ish cool weapons? Like I don't hate the fallout 4 weapons but just a lil bit more realism would be preferred. Or just more variety of weapons

3. Speaking of weapons, does this game suffer from the RPG FPS Problem of quite a few weapons being useless against some enemies: for eg, I get a gun and it takes like 100 shots to take out the enemy.

4. Is dogmeat in the game?

1). Anything you claim with your first membership is available to you once the subscription expires. With the exception of the survival tent, scrap, and ammo boxes. Tent goes away, and the scrap and ammo boxes still hold stuff and you can take it out. You just can’t put anything more in it.

2). Define what you are looking for.

3). There are some weapons that are better than others based on the situation.

4). There is no canine companion who travels with you. (With limited exceptions for certain quest lines), there are no NPC companions who travel with you. You have had the ability for quite some time to “tame” pets and send them to your camp. The update that drops on Tuesday will provide dogs and cats that you can keep at your camp.

Thank you my friend. I shall be spreading The new California way using a California complaint Pipe Bolt action Rifle with sadly, no dogmeat. HOWEVER, I am able to tame some floofballs and send them to my NOT prison.

with tent, u still 'own' any skins u unlocked, so if u re-up 1st later, u can use skins u unlocked earlier. (Other than that, rest said is factual)

Do not buy any package that costs more than base game. All you will get is junk cosmetics that look worse than tyhe ones you can earn in game for free. Second if you arent willing to pay the hefty subscription price then dont buy the game. Bethesda carved out a large chunk of convenient features and locked them behind a monthly bill. The game is painful without them.

Nah, have the first stalker game and NGL, it's Its confusing. No real story so I just have a sense of there being no real goal. Had like what 4-6 hours on the game?

Fallout 4 on the other hand, I like. Funny funny John fallout. And also grey buzz lightyear cool.

BUTTTTT fallout... 76? Uhhh idk multiplayer (still wanna get)

So... The dream of bringing the values of the NCR to Appalachia... is behind a subscription service :(

I guess I could just install a mod that does the same thing for fallout 4 + The Proto-Argonian mod to get the same effects with hot lizard person as the player character :3
