You're still thinking about that quad ultracite explosive lucky laser pistol I had for sale eh?
Repair kits are easier for me
Carbine: fast fire, the more you shot the more damage you inflict, no recoil as far as the claim. (carbine had a overheat mechanism, where as long as you keep shotting non-stop, the damage will increased significantly, but it will cooldown if you're stop shotting or reload).
I hadn't planned to but I'll log back in tonight if you want to get something.
Not unless you have some Overeaters mods for sale
Even when it wasn't bugged it was mid
vs
Laser Rifle - also mid
vs
Ultracite Laser Rifle - Green beams and red explosions... unfortunately mid for damage but a mostly unique attack look
For hipfire the Ultracite is good but it almost needs to be quad to be practical. Carbine is ok in hipfire and it's naturally large capacity means you can devote that 1st star to something else.
The other disadvantage of the Ultracite is it's fire rate can be too high for the game... On paper it should be a dps sovereign, in reality not every hit will register.
But... personally I like the standard laser as single fire, rifle or gunslinger. It is much easier on the ammo cost, concentrated fire makes single fire far more accurate than autos and it can have a slightly further range than ballistics (both as a stat and the physical shot in game. Lasers travel much further in free aim than many ballistic weapons, useful to 'tag' at long range events such as Eviction Notice and SBQ).
