point is if i can re-load perk set somehow to make it work again.
also re-equiping perk card dosn't work
It is not a bug. The perk Power User does not effect plasma cores. It only extends the duration of fusion cores for PA and the gatling laser weapons that use fusion cores. It clearly says in the text "Fusion Cores now last xxxx as long". There is no mention of plasma cores.
At rank 3 it will double the duration of a fusion core in a suit of PA and double the number of shots in a gatling laser with a full standard fusion core or ultracite fusion core up to 1000 shots.
https://fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Power_User
Normal plasma core is 250 shots when 100% charged. If you have high intelligence when you craft your own cores, or buy them from players who crafted them with high intelligence, you can get plasma cores that are "over charged" up to a max of 200%.
You will notice this as the durability bar for the plasma core is full and the 2nd thinner white bar will be shown. Same to how it works for weapons and armour repaired beyond 100%. Max charge for an "over charged" plasma or ultracite plasma core is 200%, or 500 shots.
Normal mag size for the gatling plasma is 250 shots. The reason you are seeing sometimes way more than 250 shots is due to using overcharged cores as I mentioned but also some long standing bugs related to the gatling plasma.
- Regularly you will see when using the gatling plasma weapon for the first time after logging in or after not using it for a long period or server hopping it will have a very large mag size, such as 500 shots, when you equip the weapon. Seems to be a bug where it loads 2 cores randomly from your inventory instead of the one core it is supposed to. Follow up reloads will be the expected mag size unless you encounter the bug below.
- Still seems to load more than one core at random times after a reload as some reloads will give you a mag size much larger than what should be possible from any one single core, overcharged or not, that is in your inventory.
It's not a bug with the cores themselves, but how the weapon uses them. In my experience with using these weapons for upwards of 1500+ hours, it will happen both with and without power user perk equipped.
Gat laser and gat plasma for the longest time will just stop firing when your ammo counter will say you have many shots left in the core. The other fast firing heavy heavy guns can suffer from this too, but it isn't as big of a deal. Sure it is annoying to not get all 250 shots out of a 50cal, but when you reload it is from a pool of loose rounds. You don't loose anything.
With the gat plasma and gat laser having all these trash low charge cores around is a real pain due to them taking up the same weight and also you don't want to put them back in the gun as you don't get many shots out of it.
Really wish that there was some way in game to combine partially depleted cores back into a fully charged core. Even if it was not a 1-1 ratio I would likely do it. The number of plasma and fusion cores I have dropped due to this bug and ending up with so many 10-30% cores must be in the thousands now.
I pass all my duff low-charge cores to my primary character and make Ultracite Fusion cores for his Gatling... easy to recycle this way and not waste full-charge cores.
there are topic whitch inform you that there is bug and will be fixed tomorow on 9am.
