Crossplay between Steam and Xbox Game Pass Version

I have the Steam Version. When a friend subscribe to Xbox Game Pass and download Fallout 76 there, can we play together?

Xbox pass on the PC? Yes.

Xbox pass on the Xbox itself? No.

PC is the platform, I went from Xbox for windows (beta) to steam with the same character

Maybe at a later date, seen xbox dev players on the PTS. But they need to remove the cheat weapons first, since those only exist on the pc version.

maybe one of you guys can help with this question, will i be able to use my xbox character on the windows 10 version with gamepass ?

Steam, Bethesda and Microsoft have the PC game, but I have to rather buy the game or get Xbox pass to play my current account from the Microsoft site. They say you have to buy it from Steam also since I have a Bethesda account and key but somehow I didn't?

All clients have their own atom's. If you play say the Bethesda client and have atoms but change clients to steam or Microsoft your atoms are at 0 and don't transfer.

I just went threw this with Microsoft and Bethesda. To play my same account on the Microsoft site its the cost of the full game or Xbox pass.

As far as I know that would be a no.
