Ammo Converter Lost
Very early on, I started a game and it said it could not place my C.A.M.P, do I want to continue or find a new world. I said stay and when to place my C.A.M.P. in a new location but when I did, only a few items from my old camp was in my stored option of the build menu. One of the items I have lost and can't rebuild is the "Ammopoints Ammo Converter". I get the message "Exceeds Maximum Build Count". I didn't know that once I built the Ammo Converter, I couldn't move my C.A.M.P.

1. If you ever get that pop-up and choose to stay in the world, DO NOT build another camp. All you had to do was to go into another server and it will still be there even if you have just visited one where you did not have any camp.

This means staying in a world when your camp can't be placed will not wipe your camp. However, by choosing to place your camp while in that world, you unknowingly wiped your camp.

2. Check your Stored category. Your ammo converter should be there. If it is not, then you need to report to support.

I know that now, thanks. I sometimes visit the spot my CAMP was at to see whats there now. Sometimes there is nothing there so I'm not sure why it couldn't place my CAMP

When you move your camp it stored everything as a single object. You can then place the object back down and it will have everything that was there. If not, it might have been stored separately.

Alternatively, scrap everything and start over.

they are correct about the blueprints. if you choose to stay then move your camp, you cant usually place the camp you had built unless you made a camp specifically so you can move it ie: the 1 x 1 foundation piece and stairs going up to your "floating" camp those can usually be moved in one piece.

others get stored into a blueprint by the game so a player wont lose any of the stuff they built.
typically if i move because soemone else built near my circle with their circle. and all it takes is a camp unit dont need anything built the unit creates the circle.
it is because i wish to rebuild... and thus i will find a new place and open the build ui and scrap that blueprint and any others i did not make personally and rename.
everythign will goto the stored menu. walls, turrets, letter lights, pictures and posters roofs vending machines etc.

all the stuff in a display though might vanish, stuff in the vending machines will go to your inventory.

popular busy spots where you always see a campa t obvioulsy will have more players getting that cant place camp pop up because its a popular spot...
if it keeps happening to you it might be time to examine the map on several servers to see where people keep placing camps at and placing yours not there ;)

There is nothing in my blueprints section of the build menu. In the stored section, there were the 3 generators, the wood floors (9), the wood walls and the quest sign.

Missing the furniture (8 pieces), crafting stations (1 of each), stash boxes (2), junk resource machine (1), Turrets (8), Large water collector (2), power connections(10), wood roof parts(4 corners, 4 sides, 1 topper), stairs(1) and (1) vending machine.

The advice is right. You you did not explain it right.

Go to the stored tab and look for a blueprint. Then break the blueprint so it stores the items.

The reason you can not build another is because the item is stuck in that blueprint. It does not get sent to the stored section until you break the blueprint.

But there is nothing in my Blueprint Tab. Is there a special button to make it appear?

Ok, I took your advice, went to "Blueprint" tab, still nothing there but tried to scroll up and down, just in case...nothing there so I went to my "Stored" tab and started scraping everything in it. When I got to the small table, half way down the list, it asked me if I wanted to scrap/delete blueprint. I said yes and nothing of note happened. Then I got to the Rocking Chair (next item) and it asked the same thing. This time when I scrap/deleted the Blueprint, all my missing items appeared, including the Ammo Converter. I went ahead and scrapped everything but the Ammo Converter which I placed in my NEW CAMP. Thanks for your help, not sure why the blueprint was connected to something half down the stored item list and not in the blueprint tab.

they have to fix this camp thing.. its a game killer.. cant get rid of a blueprint and that blue print cant be placed anywhere. cant make an ammo converter which i bought because its in the blueprint. FIX THE PROBLEM. I cant believe this game is considered a finished product
