is there better place to farm random encounter (im 1% away to become ally settler)?

I know slocum joe is best place to farm random encounter
but is there any other place?

note : random encounter i mean settler one and raider one not settler wanderer or scavenger

Yes.

The Slocum Joe's is actually kinda horrible to farm. Too many times camps near it will screw the spawn up (ie same spawn or no spawn.)

There is a map of random encounters out there. ANY of those can spawn settler/raiders. Think ther eis 40ish encounter locations in all?

When I did this for the rep grind I placed my survival tent near one by Sommerville, like just northeast of it (think its by the billboard on the map.) I never had a problem with player camps interferring after that.

marigold pavilion, slocums has more traffic but no one goes past marigold much , also if you get the opposum one, you can get rep each time you kill one, so keep talking to npc after each kill

i just had the gauss shotgun get stuck on aim in SBQ and had to exit game. it needs more work it gets jammed on charge 50 percent of the time for me, but iv only had it unlocked for 3 days. the first day doesnt count cause i spent the whole day killing myself with a two shot gauss shotgun

Then once it happened at end of Scorched Earth and some prick stole my flux I decided to fix the issue.

1. Get Fireproof rank 3 perk.
2. Get a Dense mod for chest.
You will never kill yourself again with your gauss shotgun.

For non-power armor user:
Admantium Skeleton rank 3 will stop you from breaking your bones constantly. Then since you have rank 3 of that you can take Bird Bones with no negative effect.

You are also going to want White Knight rank 3 as well otherwise you are going to be shredding your own armor.

Also after going with these changes while it is fun to stand on cars and shoot them point blank and take no damage when they blow, they will shred your armor.

and i already kill myself twice in 1 hour XD

Well you can also choose to keep going without power armor and take that next plunge and trade out traveling pharmacy or thru hiker for the backpack mod and free up some perk points.

Also if you can craft yourself a set of Troubleshooter Secret Service armor and roll up a vampire shotgun you tank two pylons and the ISS boss fairly easy.

Although the big frustration with shotgun if you need the SBQ to land to do decent enough damage to get credit. (That falloff damage is rough.) So expect some disappointment with that when you got the ten second @#$%heads around.

The other great thing about the shotgun is just aim at the ground near mobs if you want to tag them so other can get credit. My teammates still dont let me live down this one time at Guided Mediation where by the steps to the side hub and I jumped into the air and one shot a legendary ghoul way out in the middle of the ramps coming down.

It does kinda suck they just nerfed Enforcer though. The explosive energy damage will no longer trigger the knockdown effect. You have to actually aim at the legs and hit them with the ballistic portion (which isnt explosive) and do it outside VATS (otherwise you could one shot,)

If you are in a situation where you are wanting to one sot everything and find yourself in need of Action Points then I suggest Grim Reaper's Sprint (the sound and icon display is broken, but the effect still happens.)

Another suggestion for shotgun would be get yourself rank 1 of Four Leaf Clover (chance to fill crit on hit) since you can hit like 8 times, not much point in more.

yep someone stole me flux too, thats what made me look it up in google and saw two shot has 3 acuracy
