How do i get points to use the ammo converter?

You need to break down ammo to get points. Points is the currency to buy other ammo.

Ok. How do i break down ammo?

Sell it to the converter, its right below the option to buy that ammo type. i.e 40mm you can buy or sell once you pick the ammo type. Can save up to 100k points. Easy to sell 5.56, .308, 5mm, 2mm, .45 if you need caps, if not just sell it to the converter and buy the type you use.

You also get much less points by trading in ammo. So its best to sell the good ammo to other players and use the caps to buy other ammo. Trade in the useless ammo to the ammo converter no one buys.

Also keep in mind that each calibre/type has a minimum exchange amount, i.e. 40mm grenades need 5 (x1), 50 (x10), or 500 (x100).

Can get annoying when they require 12 but you only have 10 etc.
