Free private servers when?

For a game we already paid for it's a bit weird having to pay to play with friends.

Private server is an extra service. Pay is thus extra.

You can make a private team in a public world. Don't start a team by "create", instead use the social menu (ctrl+tab) to invite them.

Servers cost money. No way does it become free.

One of the things that would immediately improve FO76 as a game would be allowing players to host their own servers, but it will never happen private worlds are the backbone (with the extra stash being the lungs) of fallout 1st if we could play singleplayer/privately hosted even less people would bother.

maybe when its on its last breath they will open that up, but more likely they will just let it die.

Playing with friends is free. I used to do it all the time before i had the 1st sub.

If you want to play with friends AND have an entire server for yourself, then of course you have to pay for that. It what reality do you expect a free server just for you and some friends?

I really think that folks are over estimating private server use. I haven't used mine since I was very new and thought that there was some reason I needed to. The only other time I've used it was when trying new camp spots.

Plenty of other games give the option of a non dedicated server thats hosted on one players machine that essentially pauses and shuts down whenever they close the game.

For a game like this its not really unreasonable to want the same thing

Yes many games do, not all of them. It is not like Fallout 76 is the ONLY game than does not. People love to just bash Bethesda for any reason i guess.

IF ButThesda would Give the players the ability to have Dedicated Private servers. NOT the so called "private" servers you have to pay out the "a.s.s" for. but I mean REAL PLAYER HOSTED Dedicated Private Servers. like Ark / Conan ect.
Official Servers THEY host. "yes it will have restrictions"
NON Official Servers PLAYERS HOST. "Only restrictions Players set on their own server"
Allow TRUE Item mod support On NON Official Servers.

Then Create GOOD DLC that players pay for. I don't mind paying for DLC .

I refuse to pay for EVERY little ITEM ONLY THEY ALLOW you to BUY in the game.
I refuse to pay for less restrictive game play. "1st Membership"

I'm Not paying them anymore to be restricted and nerf'ed to death.
I have paid more for this game than I should have.

Here are today's REAL In Game player count.
ARK = 164,208 "dedicated servers and allows item mods"
Fallout 4 = 15,238| "dedicated servers and allows item mods"
Fallout 76 = 8,245 <---- WEILL NEVER ALLOW ---- >"dedicated servers and allows item mods" Out of those 8 thousand players, How many are REALLY paying $100 for 1st Membership?
