Never got Duncan & Duncan keycard
I'm on the Strength in Numbers quest and have gotten to the part where I need to use a keycard to open a door, however despite talking to all the NPCs at the Wayward I never got the card. I've tried server hopping and talking to everyone I can think of, how do I fix this?

Ok, first check in your keyring; under MISC in your inventory there should be the item "keyring" that contains a Duncan and Duncan keycard. You should have gotten it from the Dutchess during the quest. If it is there but it's not functioning, try restarting 76. The most common bug is the keycard swiper not showing up or not functioning.

I had the same issue, I restarted the game twice and the keycard was still not working. I ended up looking up how to glitch thru the door using the Photo Mode. Further into the map I noticed none of the keycard doors were working so I had to use the glitch again to get thru the quest

Did you talk to sol, the duchess and the robot head n the jug after returning to the wayward? The second door should function even if you have to clip through the first. The second most common issue is of course people not triggering the quest in the right order; because sometimes npcs act like Ward in that you have to talk to them 20 times to get the quest to advance, getting the correct line from each npc to advance this particular quest can be a pain (usually quests require you only speak to one npc that only gives that one quest).
! In addition, if you leave the server it can set back a good number of quests without actually telling you you have to redo some objectives !
Then magically "(Completed)" will usually pop up next to a previously invisible/non-existent objective once you've triggered it. At that point you know you have got the quest re-railed and can continue to progress with the quest line provided you don't go server hopping again before completing it. I hope this helps with any future quests you have issues with, though thankfully that one's the worst of them.

I have the same issue. There is no keycard in my inventory. I even went back and spoke to Sol without any success in him giving me a card

Update. had logged off the game and time time I went back on a couple of days later, the card reader worked.

Swap servers. Card readers not working are a known issue. It happens from time to time.

ok guys. unhighlight the quest tracker for it. restart the game, should work just fine when you come back in. Found this in bethesda support, worked for me.

damn. worked like a charm for me after I raged out for like an hour trying to find a solution. For the record, I still didn't see said keycard in my inventory, but once i highlected.. (selected and highlighted quest as active) I was able to interact the the ID reader and the card was read.

Sometimes this quest will bug out and require you to process it by using a Fallout 1st server to reset it.

I had to quit the game and restart several times to get the keycard to work ! .. Another job done to Bethesda standards

the private FO1st server did it for me. Leads me to believe if you do not have FO1st you need to continously log in and out until you find a server that hasn't been used before.

my assumptions is that if the quest has already been completed by another player on that serveron that server, it won't allow it to be opened again.
